yes, it runs winmob so getting bbc running on it is very possible.

I tried several versions of bbconnect on it. none of them works yet.
I tried bbconnect 4.0.0.90,4.0.0.91,4.0.0.92,4.0.0.97
same issue:
still on Pin Pending.

Be carefull, Don try bbconnect 4.0.0.84. after Installation, I780 hangs on windows mobile screen. it freeze completely.
And there is no Hard reset instead of via windows Mobile.
The only way is to connect on activeSync (if you're lucky) and remove Blackberry Service

any new updates on this? I also would like to have bbconnect working, but it seems to get a connection for a few seconds and then it drops the connection, leaving the pin pending.

Hi,

I've also tried bbconnect with my i780 - but failed.

With 4.0.0.97 the service at least started, but PIN did not come ...

Now I've tried .100 ... but after restart, the Windows Mobile does not even come up!

Only chance is to connect the i780 to ActiveSync and de-install bbconnect again.

Very sad ... is there anybody out there being sucessful with bbconnect on i780?
