I have tested with the HTC S310 (with WM5.0) and GPSID (http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/nl/download-microsoft-gpsid.html) together with GPS TEST (http://www.chartcross.co.uk/products/WM00002_details.asp) and I got signal strength bars and a fix(2D)
