I have a problem with my Touch. When I use the external GPS nobody can call me because the phone becomes busy...Help please!!!

Unfortunately I don't think there is a fix or this. The only possibility I can think of is to find mapping software that is less intensive if you need it to run for an extended period.

Are you using a bluetooth GPS receiver

I have no problem with mine.
