[Suggestion] Today Plugin with Album Art

Would this be possible?
Lacking talents in programming I'm unfortunately not able to even try this but
it would be cool to have a music today plugin with album art, kinda like the
attached picture...with the addition of Play, Pause, Next and Previous...
About 150-200 in height...

In the latest XIA Diamond multi theme, there is a mort-script based music plugin that works with S2P. It's not the greatest, but it does work with Wisbar Desktop (2) and should work with UL.

S2P plus Mortscrip....nahhhhh. i wnat a simple todayplugin..that works with WMP or HTC audiman...BUT without need of HTC HOME!!

S2P basicly works with WMP anyway.

Uses Core files to decode.

S2P homescreen Plugin would kick as any Home plugin only showing the Album Art.

Come on A_C you can do it.

if u use throttle launcher by Ap..he has made a utility called WMPControls..it controls the forward,volume and etc through his launcher

thanks but i really ONLY wnat a todayplugin!!!! not a hole bunch of apps. just a simple todayplugin to include in UL!!!!!

Did someone try to edit this simple HTC audio today plugin because it has xml configuration file so perhaps you can increase size a little and modify image ?

Well almost all the plugin that actually exist does`t show album cover, the one I know is V2R mediaplayer plugin that shows album cover but the size of the art is too small in my opinion and isn´t freeware.
If you want a plugin that shows albumart, for now, you must to use another program for that.

If you decide for V2R, exist a trial version that works fine for undeterminated time, if dont like its graphic with "free version" embedded send me a PM to tell you how I changed.

Actually, V2R is not a half bad program. I agree though that the album art is really small (and I do mean small), but I think it is the closest thing that we will find to cover flow as a Today Plugin (at least until S2P can support it ;) ). the other interesting thing is that even though it isn't freeware, I believe that it is shareware, just a few features disabled.

There should be a way to mod/hack it so that it will take a different player such as TCPMP or S2P.
