Another good stuff of the wm 6.1 is the Java Manager - i missed it at WM6!
And so - it worked ok - now i'll test the new rom a bit!

@ lazaj - is it difficult to make a german rom? I Know - there are few german roms but not for hurricane or typhoon - can i use a german patch from another System?

i think that you can use german langpack from wm6, but i doesn't work property.
more of mui and other files have more strings inside than wm6 mui.
so if you use LP from wm6 some position and strings in menu will don't work

it's no easy, most of files are new. translating is horrible. and wm 6.1 is now a beta version so there are many bugs to fix.

I upgrade to wm6.1 but it says after starting device ''low memory'' It is nearly all chinesse and I cant change nothing in settings menu. it says something in chinesse. WTF

i had the same with memory - but it is okay!
U can change language same like WM6, but on the first start the phone is very buggy. It's better to restart and then change the language!

Start - Settings Symbol - 0 - 2 and on the first u can change language!
But..make a restart!

I reinstall win, restart phone again and finally I can change language, I think it is quite slow I mean using that sliding panel, but its nice, In sounds menu there are a lot of mp3 ringtones but some error appear. waiting for lazaj version :)

I have problem with MMTY142 on Vista x64, when I'm trying upgrade WM6 to WM6.1.
The problem is, when I'm in bootloader, I haven't USB option in MMTY so it can't connect to my phone. USB Connection in Mobile Device Centeris is turned off, and I'm entering to bootloader with pushed camera button.
Do you have any advice?

i was do working irda in some my test version of wm6 rom but everytime after send something phone was hold so i was remove it

I've checked with a digital camera that can detect IR. The IR diode isn't doing anything, so it is disabled. Any hint where to find said comm manager?

I discussed this issue about hurricane and tornado with karhoe. he also said it was impossible.

so there are a number of possibilities.

1. My qtek 8300 is not a hurricane. although it looks a lot like a hurricane.
(best option)
2. It is a hurricane, but has tornado hardware/rom/settings/bios/what more.
3. I was lucky
4. it actually works

more research in this subject suggests that the qtek 8310 is indeed a tornado that look similar to a c550. so i will have to agree that it is impossible to flash the c550 with a tornado rom.

qtek 8300 is not hurricane, it is tornado, so u can flash it into tornado rom

you also must not to confuse things with T-Mobile SDA2.
SDA2 European version (at least in Germany) is Hurricane, but US version isn't one (so don't even try to flash it with Hurricane's SPL, you'll kill it).

i have flashed the wrong spl SPL 1.01.0109 on my fone. that spl was of htc typhoon.
now my phone is not booting up.
when i press the power button the fone gives the white disply and nothing else happens.
i cannot even get into bootloader.
the charging function works when the fone is turned off.
when i turn on the fone it dos nothing not even chaging.
is there any way to get my old fone back...
