do some search before you open up a new thread brother. anyways, here's a possible solution (you may have to try it out coz i never found myself in this situation)

this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366505) has one solution (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1915254&postcount=5) from orefkov which may help or this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351234) from nirvana might help too

hope this helps in recovering your gene. also i suggest going further, you should get into flashing or cooking only if you know what you doing

:)Man i called htc service centre here in bangalore , they gave me a simple solution for my problem...

We can hard reset the device just by pressing and holding both the " -" keys right above the answer and end keys and pressing the power button . It will run the ghost image and recover the device ...

note :

1) make sure your battery is more than 50 % charged .
2)you must do a power cycle in your device ( take out the battery , then press and hold the power button ) before you do a hard reset ...

My device is back to normal...

I am referring to Ghost image. What exactly it is and is it safe even after flashing ? Finally what is power cycle(Is it complete discharge of backup battery).
Thanks again buddy :-)

P.S. Can u give HTC Bangalore number. Thanks.

How can one make sure that the battery is more than 50% charged when the phone is showing the bootloader screen... If I keep it for charging in that state, does it get charged?
Please help

Start the phone in bootloader without connecting the cable. NOw press the powerbutton for a while to shutdown the phone completely. Then plugin the cable or charger, it will start charging without getting started. Charge it for sometime, or to be on the saferside, untill the light turns into gree from amber.

hi
i dont know if u remember long time when i sent a PM to u asking help to upgrade my 3400i u gave me a very rude reply and said its not rocket science and to look around but i see u asking for help

so its different when u need help and some one else asks u for the same im saying this because ur words then really hurt me its happened around 3-4 months back

so my humble request to u is if u cant or dont want to help just say it in a nice manner and not in a rude manner see u wanted help and u can see people trying to help u here
