I have searched to the best of my ability, and haven't found anyone with the same problem I'm having... so here it goes.
My Dash, which was upgraded to the Kavana 6.1 yesterday, has been mysteriously dialing an 866 number every night at precisely 9:34PM for months on end. Before this upgrade I was on the HTC ROM and it did the same thing.
Now, at home it is connected to an XLink bluetooth gateway (cell thinks it's a headset) for me to use along with my home phones, so I guess my setup is a bit unique. It dials when not "connected" to the gateway too.
The number dialed is not one in my list of previously dialed. When I pick it up, it is always connected to a fax and the calls typically last a minute or two.
Now I noticed when unlocking my phone again last night for the ROM upgrade, that a little message comes up warning that you run the risk of having your phone open for "dialers". I suspect this might be the problem I am having, but I am not sure. This window pops up when using the Excallibur SDA unlock I believe.
I am at a loss on how to fix it, if it's even possible. It's starting to cost me money as well...
