Polaris SIM Unlocker & Hard-SPL

I'm desperate... I live in guadeloupe.. so unlockin' my cellphone would be about 50€ ..... :s I'm just 18 years old and I've no money ! :(

I've tryed your link and downloaded the Polaris SIM Unlocker & Hard-SPL , but it doesn't work ... :(:(:(:(:(:(

I have unlocked my HTC Touch Cruise of SFR operator in French. Now I can use the sim card of Orange, but I have a big problem: after 1 minute of calling or of receiving the calls, there are no sound, no ring, I can’t hear anything. I can send SMS, I can call, but I can’t hear anything. Then I must initialize the phone for the initial configuration. But, the problem comes back for 1 minute of communication. I tried to install another ROM, but I have always the same problem. Anyone can help me to solve this problem please. Thanks in advance.

Yes folks... the one you've been waiting for... finally managed to get the patched AMSS to boot... a nice big "up your arse" to Qualcomm.

OK... so, here's the deal... download it, follow the instructions... NO, it won't work for your Kaiser/Artemis/Motorola MR1, so don't ask.

for those of you who are already Hard-SPL (and I mean those of you who didn't manage to completely **** up replugging their USB); you may skip Step 1 by running it, then cancelling the rom update immediately... however, there's really no harm in doing it again, just remember the golden rule:

your PDA *MUST* be in WM and happily synced with the PC BEFORE running each new step.

Well if you do on a Toshiba T-01A you have a big chance of bricking your device :eek: so wait till someone releases one for that phone.

Hi!

I have a htc touch cruise (Polaris) from VIVO operator here in Brazil and i tried to use this unlocker unsuccesfully.
Step 1) I did the Hard-SPL succesfully to 2.20.Olinex.
Step 2) Did not upgrade the RADIO rom, the message was that could not flash. The message was the same user ksp posted: ERROR [226] : FLASH WRITE, FLASH write error has happened. Please check your PDA phone.
Then the phone got stopped at bootloader and did not boot.
Then to solve the problem i did the hardspl again and the phone booted again succesfully but the radio continued the same.

The radio was 1.65.38.14. I tried to downgrade the radio to Radio_Murata_PPAS_1.58.21.23 and to HTC_Polaris_Radio_1.59.42.15 unsuccessfuly. The radio that worked in the downgrade was the Polaris_Radio_1.65.30.09 but then tried to patch the radio again and the error message continued.

The rom upgrade is ok, now i´m using the HTC POLARIS - PDAVIET ROM WM6.5 3G (Core 23414) by T2M and the phone is ok, but still LOCKED.

Does anyone know how to use the unlocker to unlock or has a solution?

i´ve found that the radio Polaris_Radio_ROM_1.59.46.12 (http://rapidshare.com/files/285239274/Polaris_Radio_ROM_1.59.46.12.rar) is compatible for downgrade!
After downgraded to this radio the step 2 and 3 of unlocker worked fine!
Now the cellphone is unlocked!!!

UPDATE 2:
Upgraded the radio again to 1.65.30.09 to get better signal reception.

My touch screen is not responding anymore and tried to restore spl for warranty reasons. Unfortunately, I can no longer enter the bootscreen, pressed camera button and reset, nothing happened, just a soft reset. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help!! Much appreciated!!

I actually never managed to fix the issue and restore the spl - tried a lot! Had to send it off to HTC with the modified spl. Will have to see whether they notice...

If you're asking it to install a custom ROM for any cook, the answer is yes!

Ok guys this is the problem: I had the amine 2.0 Rom instaled for more than a year......and then my signal icon suddenly appeared with an "!" sign. All apps work perfectly except the phone, I can not call o recieve calls, text messages etc. Then someone told me that I had to change the ROM, I did so, with the megan one, and the problem stay the same, I have tried with some radio versions too. Then I found this tool... I thought this would be my salvation but when I get the last step and the phone and pc say my phone is now unlocked and I can close the program, then a message of error appears, it says that it didn´t find a file or that some other program is using it......

I am new in this, and I thank God I havent bricked my phone....

Does anyone know how can I solve this problem??

Please i don't know if this is the correct section for post my problem, i'm very :o cocerned becouse in phase of install of 1 rom, i not remember the problem , probabily sim inserted, or other, i have Brikked my Htc Touch Cruise Polaris, now the phone if i enter whith battery charged to 100%, and put the button "camera" + button small "soft reset", the phone not enter in Boot Loader, but the PC know the device, i think, but ask to me for the "data interface" driver, what are these?, i have Active Syncronie in the PC, but naturaly not know the device, please have one mode of restore this Htc?, not have one mode for enter in the Phone and write other time the Hard SPL and after the Original Spl?, please if this'nt the correct section, want write to me the correct or if have solution?,

Perhaps this helps for people who don't get into the bootloader anymore.
Turn off the device completely (remove battery, put it back in)
Then hold camera key, en turn it on. Then release off-switch. With me the Softresetkey + cam key didn't work either. This worked anyway.

Another thing, can I unlock my pola100 if I flashed android to NAND?
