To make a long story short, i accidentally deleted all keys in this folder:

HKEY_Local_machine\Comm\ConnMgr\Destinations\

If someone out there who is nice enough to take the time and could send me a backup of these, i would be forever grateful!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

i had all of these connections listed like "MY ISP" "MY Work Network" ETC alongside Media Net...

Some programs refused to connect using media net (pocket outlook) and would always try with the MY ISP and stuff which had no connection settings under them..

So i searched for "MY ISP" in the registry editor, and deleted that and other keys except for media net, thinking logically that this would solve my connection problems...wrong

I still have no idea how windows mobile handles connections... or the reasoning behind having like 10 diff ones listed in the connections manager.
They should have made it easier to understand, like network connections in the control panel for windows xp / vista, because having "MY ISP" and "MEDIA NET" and "MY ISP GPRS" makes no sense to me

or maybe i'm missing something?
heh

i got it back thanks johnsonc to and it seems to work (the same way it did before), but pocket outlook still gives me "Cannot connect with current connection settings" sigh Skype will not connect either

Under connection settings for my email account it gives me an option of "The Internet" "Media Net" and "Work"
are not the internet and media net the exact same god damn thing?

i am utterly clueless as to why they set it up this way
