Install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351964 launching ROMUpdateUtility.exe from PC, maybe it would ask to unplug and replug, do this without problem, after you can flash the ROM launching a file
with the same name : ROMUpdateUtility.exe
While you flash don't do other and be sure your battery is over 50%.

There's actually ALOT* of walkthroughs and how-to's in those forums. You'd just have to search. Almost every ROM you'll find here has some kind of a README.TXT attached or it is described in the thread where you got it from, how/what you have to do.
"Crack" your device to accept any ROM and not just original ROMs. In other words: flash the HardSPL from Olipro's thread. This will void your warranty. It's reversible though.
Download the ROM of your choice. Start the flashing program by launching ROM.EXE or ROMUpdateUtility.EXE depends on how the cook named the file. The symbol is always the same though: two devices or so connected through two arrows turning in a circle. It's the only EXE which has a symbol of all files.
Follow onscreen instructions given by the ROM Update Utility. Eg: click next a couple times and check a couple of checkboxes with "Yes I accept I can brick my device and my wife sucks" or so... Depends on how much the cook likes his wife :D Nah, bull, just next a couple times and some checkboxes. That's all.Be sure the battery is more or less fully charged and don't play around with stupid software on the PC which could crash your machine. When the flashing process gets interrupted, it's quite possible you brick/break your device.
