Fm Radio_Poor Reception

Hello! I recently bought the xda orbit 2 and I have updated in the original rom of HTC touch cruise. The problem is with the fm radio, which has very poor reception. Can anybody help?

What did you expect from a FM radio without proper antenna?

I can compare with other mobile phones woch have fm radio and is worse!

any idea on how to make the radio work without the headphones? with the charger cable plugged in for example?

I usually use the htc extusb to 3.5mm headphones adapter. It works (even without the headphones) but on certain stations the reception sucks.

I had the same problem. I bought this http://www.expansys.no/htc/p_htc_item.aspx?i=154771 and the problem is gone. Nearly crystal clear without an old pot. meter for adjusting sound.
