Active Sync with Rom 6.1

I can't get Active Sync to recognize my phone. What needs to be done? :(

Are you using Vista ? In that case you need to update the sync center.

ok after like all night i somehow got it to work, doesnt ask how (it was late in the morning)

Now how to get the symbols to work :( and im done :)

the problem i'm having with active sync and 6.1 is that it starts on the phone (in the background) automatically. and it won't die either. you kill it... and it's back a short time later (even if you haven't connected to your computer).

not a biggie i guess. i tried the fix (where you create an exchange server and then adjust the active sync settings on the phone) but it didn't seem to change anything.

anyway... i have no idea if there's a fix, but at the very least am currious to know if anyone else is having the same issue.

this isn't an install fluke either (though it could be a fluke with my phone specifically) as i had the problem on multiple installs of the rom and w/ multiple 6.1 roms (both the 07 and 08 versions).
