View Full Version : Strange behaviour of notification icons

Hi
Sometimes when I boot Vista it doesnt display the network and volume notification icons, and sometimes not the power one either. When I go to properties the checkboxes for these icons are greyed out and cannot be selected. Its usually fixed by a reboot but this isnt ideal - has anyone else seen this? I've not seen it on any of my other Vista machines before and I have applied all available updates?

This happened to me as well. It is a Vista bug my friend, but you can fix it :-)). Here is the medicin:

I hope it helps. Some people say it is a temporary solution only, but hey, SP1 is coming soon !

andf guess what....SP1 didnt solve this problem!
