It looks like there's been a change to the Microsoft Sprint Touch site...

Instead of listing the EVDO rev A update to be Q1 2008, it's now unspecified.

"CDMA Dual-band/CDMA2000, 1xEv-DO Will be upgraded to EVDO Rev A"

I smell a major delay!

Also, GPS = no? Oh well, I guess it's a Verizon ROM for me...

I can tell you that HTC reps did say that GPS AND REV A WILL BOTH come to the touch... the rep told me that it could take up to 3 months (talked to her in feb).

Also, notice that the built-in GPS is still marked as "NO" under the Mogul...

Talked to the Sprint Rep a couple of days ago and he said that Rev a and GPS is definitely coming in first week of May.

Here's hoping that someone pulls a Mogul and lets an earlier release out a little sooner. I'd like to have this before my mid-April vacation.

As both Mogul and Touch uses MSM7500 Chipset and RFR6500 Radio Receiver and RFR6150 Transmittor, I dont think there should be any delay

as the same Firmware after some change (Removal of WiFi)can be Implemented
here,

In fact this is somekinda Marketing Strategy to keep on rolling Change via Firmware and anoouncing each and every thing in news one by one. Apple to do the same in iPhone.

I think 2 month will be sufficient time for EVDO Rev A Upgrade software!
