Help!! I'm completely lost.

My DS220 isn't working correctly with my Touch. Music play fine, however after a phone call, it lose it's connection. I can seem to figured out why. It's driving me crazy!

Can anyone give me a insight? Could it be my firmware? Any settings I can change to fix this?

Cheers,

Try installing this update from HTC, I've had problems with my gps receiver, losing connection, after this update everything works like a charm.

I just installed the HTC update onto my device and I'm still having issues with losing the bluetooth connection after a phone call. Sunnycheng, did the update work for you?

I had DS-220 myself, i switched to DS-980. I had the exact same problem, only sometimes i did disconnect, sometimes it didn't, now, using the ds-980 with JetWare BT handsfree conection i experience disconnect only occasionally. My friend working as SE tech guy told me, that they have plenty of incoming SE handsfrees with "disconnecting" issues even while using SE phones. The problem on WM platform is generally in two things - the MS BT stack our Touches are using sux, it although it can handle A2DP and AVRCP it's rather weak in swapping between HF and Wireless stereo modes - to sort this out, try installing JetWare HF extension and check all the advanced features like "Suspend after call over bluetooth", the second thing is the headset itself - it can't connect itself after being dropped off the device for some reason, and same as WM it sometimes can't swap between playing music and incoming calls (both devices are switching profiles) - to sort this out i really don't know, try to get another piece on warranty, but if the technician tests the handsfree with SE phone and it will hold connection for couple of times, he will probably return it to you, otherwise you might get new piece with new firmware, if there are some availible.
