didn't work for me but ..... what I do is .. after the 1st force hardreset .. i do a clear storage 2 times (Have to key-in 1234) . to my surprise .. it works flawlessly :)

Hi All

For those who have so far tested this build, has anyone experienced the WM6.1 Hard-Reset bug?

I loved the V10 of this ROM but despite 11 re-flashes (yes I tried installing the base HTC ROM, and disabling Card Power Saving, and all the other 'fixes' suggested on the forums) I was unable to keep it operational for more that about 16 hours.

I'd really like to use this ROM, just need to know I'm not going to spend another entire weekend fighting with it before going back to WM6.0 again.

I have to say, this is an excellent ROM. Great job, my friend! I do have one issue though. Is anyone experiencing an unexpected error with the SlideSound program? everytime I slide open my 8525, I get: " win32exception at system.diagnostics.process.startwithshellexecuteex ()atsystem.diagnostics.process.start(),...etc..... ......"

Very good job, bit very big Bug in QuickMenu:

password (4 numbers) to mlock device. when device is locked, I can close the Loginscreen by tapping into the upper right corner (where normally "X" or "OK" -Button is) or tap and hold pressed. Now I can Access the deivice without upper start-menu-line and touchFlo-Compability.
I have to do a hard reset the get the login screen again and to use the system full.

Schaps Advanced Config doesnt display the current settings for A2DP if it was NEVER modified before.

The values shown in the advanced config are simply "suggested" defaults, but not the real values found in the registry.

I installed this rom and i'm with one problem...
Some keys from fisical keyboard are changed.
For example: when i click on "z" key, write "y" and not "z" and when i click on "y" write a "z". and there is the same for "@" and "!" and maybe with others...
How i put this normal?

My I start is GREAT ROM!!! Love it, works great on ym dopod838 in Australia.

I have only one issue, when I connect by external bluetooth gps, which worked perfect with tomtom under the "Official" WM6 release from htc/dopod, it won't work under this rom. It connects fine in the bluetooth section, pairs perfect, and I create the comm port as required. Then I go into tomtom, tell the comm port to use but it just won't talk. I am using the same steps as I used when I did this the other times I have had to hard-reset because of various issues so I know to procedure is right. Any ideas??

Looks like I solved the problem. I loaded another program that appears to have also loaded the .net framework sp3, not sure if it was the GPS dash2 program I loaded for the framework, but hey it working again.

I have been using this version since it came out and Windows Live has been working with no problems. It maybe another 3rd party app conflicting with it but does not appear to be a ROM issue.

This rom is really nice but i found one issue. The device wont automatically establish a data connection to allow Windows live to connect and synch email. I tried a couple of different connection setup versions and a couple of different Windows Live versions and still no joy. Has anyone else seen this?

I've been using your final build rom for a few days now and it has preformed flawlessly, but I had a couple of questions. How come button 5 (ptt button) doesn't have the quick push mapping. I use that for M$ voice command(not really a big deal)? My real problem is that I cannot voice dial from my bluetooth headset. I have the BT fix cab installed and on every rom I've ever installed it has worked, but for some reason it doesn't work with this rom. Lastly, is it possible to have bluetooth explorer installed or does someone have the cab file available so I could install it?

okay, so putzing around with the phcanoverbmp.dll in your ROM restores those sexy shroud-less network icons. Anything additional needed to get them working in a completely different ROM? :confused:

Be advised that anyone living in the US will need to have a connection wizard of some sort handy to gain a connection. The network wizard cooked in does not recognize the US. No worries though, just one small extra step.

Just installed this rom, and I'm now restoring my 800+ contacts and 4,000+ sms messages. This will take a while, since it will sort them in threaded mode and it takes some time.

Meanwhile, I read on some post in this thread that users in the US (AT&T being mine carrier) need to find a connection wizard to correctly set it up (I haven't installed my SIM yet, waiting for the complete restore).

Where can I see my MMS messages?

Can the pagepool be increased? Maybe from 4 to 6? I read someplace in this board higher pagepool higher performance.

Meanwhile, I read on some post in this thread that users in the US (AT&T being mine carrier) need to find a connection wizard to correctly set it up (I haven't installed my SIM yet, waiting for the complete restore).

Can the pagepool be increased? Maybe from 4 to 6? I read someplace in this board higher pagepool higher performance.

Higher pagepool does mean faster, I use a 8meg and always notice a speed difference, also, this is a old rom, have you though about trying his V20, or there CRC's roms which are also new and stable.

and to view mms you will need to install "- PDACorner_Arcsoft_MMS_Split.cab" or "- PDACorner_Arcsoft_MMS_Joined.cab" Which is mms in a new folder or in with the text msgs.

Thanks.... I just noticed that there was an newer rom (I found about this rom in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337)). However, seeing the screenshots, I like how this one looks better (just personal taste). Is there any reason highly important to maybe try V20? I also found a way to change the pagepool, using this app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323269&highlight=pagepool+changer) and set it to 8MB and flashed it again.

And install the cabs.

New roms, mean newer builds, which are normally faster, if your still looking for a more venilla WM experience (one of the reasons I don't use his roms, there very good otherwise) try CRC.

But if this one works for you, with no bugs ect, then!

And HTC connection wizard is

"- JUVS_HTC_NetworkWizard_Unlimited.cab"

In the File I quoted above.

Oh My God, can you do a little readiing, and maybe use the search engine before asking these kind of questions? There are HUNDREDS of threads and DOZENS of diffenent connection wizards out there. Please do a little research.
