MDA Vario II as USB modem with WM6

Internet sharing problem .
I have upgrade to windows mobile 6 and Activsync 4.5 but my lap does not recognize MDA vario II as a HTC USB modem. Anybody has anything about this problem?

wmwifirouter is a prob thats free and works great for me.only u have to use wifi to have a connection to ur laptop.only i dont know how to put a password on it.so someone can steal mine connection when iam at the base

I made myself protection in router with just adding mac address protection, so only recognized macs can be on wifi network
