I have changed page pool size using the program I used for Kaiser Roms (PagePoolChanger.exe) on most of the cooked 6.1 roms to anywhere from 12 to 32. All roms seemed stable after doing so. I didn't benchmark anything so wouldn't know about any real differences in speed.
