Hi,

With my official european french rom the cruise recognize my phone operator when turning it on after an hard reset; it automatically sets up the right settings for mms, edge and data connection (my operator is SWISSCOM)

What if I install one of the cooked rom from this forum, will this still happen?

If no where can I find the software that installs theses settings?

Thanks a lot for helping

Dag

The original Xda orbit 2 ROM for example has the connection wizard removed. It can be added through a CAB though.
All of the cooked ROMs I tried (almost all of them ;)) feature the connection wizard.

I'm using bepes WM6.1 too. Build .58 (most recent), the full edition, German language version. So bepe WM6.1 .58 FULL GER.

It suits my needs perfectly and of all the ROMs I tried, I found it to be the one coming from an experienced cook. Unlike some of the ROMs out there it's very useful put together and in harmony with the devices possibilities. It's very fast and very stable.

Can you tell me more about battery life and bepe rom !

Now with my official WM6 french rom with phone in standby, no sms, no mms, no wifi or gps , just standby I get 40 hours and then my battery goes to 0%.

Is it better with bepe?
