TNT Series for WM 6.1 build

Intro:

As Usual, TNT got some delay to prepare very high quality for any build (this build got more than 3 weeks "Really").

The drivers rebuilt with AT&T drivers with some edits to match the required features for users (always i'm reading all posts for users to know what exactly they want), so if you haven't tried TNT series before, you have to now.

I added all tweaks i learned to get the highest battery life with highest performance with very care for issues fixing.

NOTES:

- Because IR & BT have issues in 19199 buid, i fixed them and disable Beam.exe from settings to insure that the issue will not come again (don't worry about battery Life at all).

- Please test the rom without your edits to know about its stability.

-if you have any connection problem with the PC, please go to Start/settings/Connections> "USB to PC" and reactive it (remove the tick if you want to use WM5torage) .

-every app choosed according to the stability not for the newest version.

- this release contans rom and splashes only.

- if you want higher speed please ask for 6 mb page pool (many users want to get more prog. memory, so they like 4 mb p.p.)

- use 2.10 SPL (see wiki)

- for more details just read the stickied threads.

New Apps Informations:

** Dr.YAR 1.6 bluetooth:

- show bluetooth sender name.
- choose a location for files recieved.
- recieve when the device off.
- don't delete MS bluetooth, you can recive from both.
- ... MANY means MANY
if you want to use it, you find an icon on the tray, double click on it.
note: there is a white window if you recieve just hide it then open it again.

How TO Install:

I integrated SDAutoRun (thanks to Sleuth255) for our needs.

for more information for this tool and if you want to know how to modify the cabs to match your needs visit this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366333 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366333) and read (it is very simple, but becareful for the noted written there)

First: you have to copy SDConfig.txt file and xxTNTxx folder to your SD (in Storage Card directory directly not inside any other folder)

Second: if you have learned well about modifying the SDAutoRun, DON'T Remove any registry or file you don't know about it (some of them are System needs)

Third: Whenever you prepared SDConfig.txt and xxTNTxx folder, flash your device and then before setting up it after the flashing, MAKE SURE THAT THE SD CARD IS INSTALLED.

Fourth: PLEASE if you didn't learned how to modify SDAutoRun, just copy the files (as written in the first step) as them (it is very simple, so please becareful)

Downloads:

Before downloading : i really spent so much time to produce this thing and looking for the careless things by someother cookers just to give you something very high quality, so please donate by any simple dollors here (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&business=fahad.alamoud%40gmail%2ecom&item_name=XDA %20Donation&no_shipping=0&no_note=1&tax=0&currency_code=USD&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF&charset=UTF%2d8).

Downloading now. Thanks for the hard work! Quick question, it seems in your directions that the SDAutoInstall process is required for the proper installation of the ROM. Is that the case? I don't have an SD card, but I would love to use the ROM. Is it possible to use it without the SDAutoInstall or is there an alternative way to use SDAutoInstall without an SD card?

Thanks for the info and sorry to bother you.

yes, just download rar file, then after customization finished, just install cab files which are located in xxTNTxx (inside SDAutoRun RAR) manualy, but try to open SDConfig.txt and see the sequence of cab files and apply the same sequence, then enjoy :o

Jim

Google it in the Hermes forum Jim. There is a little software program that you can download from several of these threads that lets you change pagepool to whatever you want (within reason.) It has been around for at least six months.

You run it, choose the ROM you want to change the pagepool on, select the pagepool value, and voila, you have a faster ROM if you want, but you sacrifice like program memory, or storage memory, not sure which.

Yes, i had experience this little problem too (not so often but sometimes), Well ..... as long as the bootloader (3 color screen) still can be access so i think no need to panic. Just flash the ROM from it. :D

Shouldn`t we be more concerned about stability at this time knowing how unstable WM6.1 is at the moment?

I can't seem to get a reply on the startup folder. I'm trying to figure out what I can safely remove.

Batterylevel.lnk (I assume I can get rid of this?)

launcher.lnk (whats this do? can i remove it?)

pttstart.lnk (I dont remember having this in other roms to get 5th button to work. can i remove it?)

startkey.lnk (not sure what this does either)

trayicon_mannermode.lnk (i think this just gives vibrate or something right?)

I would appreciate if anyone can answer this I want to safetly remove as much as possible..

Oh I almost forgot I attached an image below and if you look at the very top theres a yellow line that runs along the top no matter what theme I use. How do I get rid of this?

After 1 day everything is perfect......

And for the cherry on the cake everyone should do this small registry change:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=373721

If it's there why non gain all of it !!!!!!!!!

Probably you should only have this one in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework : 3.5.7283.00

Change the DWORD value of 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1

I've looked this over and since 3.5 is already cooked in this ROM its not gonna do anything because there was never any 2.0 .NET installed.

So basiclly theres no version 2.0 for it to get confused about so its all good..

Hi

I flashed the ROM and started to configure the device. First of all it didn't want to sync with my Exchange 2007 server but I fixed that by activating "allow non-provisionable devices", which is strange..

After I configured it all, I noticed that ActiveSync gets killed by the taskmanager that is installed (WxTasks?) so I removed that to keep the updates from my Exchange coming. As a final action I did a softreset and after that I was friendly asked to configure my device as this was the first time Windows Mobile started.. erm.. no? I just finished configuring all my settings.. Well.. WM6.1 did a hard reset and all was gone, I could start all over again.

I just started again and WM6.1 detected my Sim and the autoconfigure did it's job. It asked for a reset and then the device never came back. It got stuck somewhere in the bootprocedure. I did a hard reset, started all over again and now it's stuck again

So erm.. I've been busy getting the ROM to work for the past 4 hours without a working situation so I'm returning to my previous ROM and will sit this one out..

In my opinion there is a small gain on speed if you wait 20-30 sec and soft reset the device

How do I disable the large icon question box that comes up when you click Sound/Volume icon on tray in today screen - it is really really annoying me!

Is it tied to the Tray_Icon_MannerMode process?

Other than that I believe this to be the greatest rom i've used to date!

Delete HKLM>services>LargeTitleBar and soft reset it should be good.

@others
Observations
1. WK task I guess making this ROM little slower, I removed and put the HTC Task manager
2. Try WMBE today theme instead of Htc_default. It feels faster.
3. Tons of ringtone is there in the windows folder which can be shifted to storage card.
4. Improve performance/response time:
- Start > Settings > Phone => Keypad = Off
- Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications; Under Sound Tab => Disable/Untick Events (warings, system events)
This would make this rom more beautiful.

Same here I'm still trying to figure out what launcher, startkey, ppt and the tray_manner ones do. I don't have much running but I'm already at 80% memory used.

Also I'm having problems with this new HTC Home plugin. It will not download my weather info no matter what I do it just says unable to retrieve data for selected city please try again. My data works fine with everything else and this has never happened with any older HTC Home versions. Also the images for the profiles tab and music tab with HTC Home are backwards.

So, I installed this ROM yesterday morning, after having checked for bad blocks and flashed the dopod radio 1.47 right before.

Everything was fine until I did a PIM backup restore. After that, file explorer was slow to respond. I installed PCM TodayShrink and SPB MobileShell2 and then did a soft reset. Regrettably, it hard reset instead. Tried to install just MobileShell and soft reset. This time it didn't hard reset, but froze at the boot screen. Soft reset again and it booted up, but said it couldn't find the files to launch file explore, mobile shell, or PIE.

I checked for bad blocks again (none) and flashed the official ATT/Cingular ROM and then back to this ROM. So far, it has locked up a couple of times and I am still getting errors trying to run MobileShell, but it hasn't hard-reset yet.

Maybe there is just something funky about my particular hardware, but I haven't had this problem before. I'll go back to K's WM6 Final to make sure something about my hardware didn't get messed up. Great ROM so far though! I'll keep playing around and see if I can find out exactly which application is causing it to freeze/hard reset.

i hope you can figure out the problem and share us, because there is something wrong with WM 6.1 builds.

i think PIMBackup have some issues, when you restore using ActivSync, i don't think you will get these errors (but i'm not sure, so i need some comments from users)

could some of you meantion their 3rd party apps to figure out the source of this issue!!!

i'm sure that the reason is incompatibility with 19199 build (especially for today plug-in 3rd party apps)

but it is a good step to check them with vanilla version.

Well I'm not able to send or receive MMS messages at all. Also when I try and load up random txt msg conversations it just crashes and takes me back to the today screen..

If you look at the attached screen the Top bolded txt is me trying to send a MMS to Tom and its just stuck in the outbox. If I try and go into that conversation it will just crash to today screen.

Actually all of those will crash if I try and read them except Tony. These were not imported from anything all of these txt etc I got after I loaded this ROM..I always start fresh..

I got hard reset once when I was using first WM6.1 pdaviet while using PIE. then once more with Shadow TE 2.0 after PIM Backup resotore. I reflshed it with Schaps 4.31 and installed several roms no issues. Now I have all my contacts in live. So I sync after flashing and thats it. Tasks and appoinment call logs have no issues. I don't do custom backup restore. I guess that causes some problem also.

I will explain better..see the pic attached and how I have an arrow to the icon? That icon is the music icon so when I press on it I should get the music section.. As you can see by my pic when I click it it brings up the sound profile panel.

Make sense?

I had this issue also. I googled a little and came up with this:

I flashed the official ATT ROM (the one with radio 1.54)

Then I flashed TNT....

No issues....it works perfectly, and then I downgraded to my preferred radio.

i hope you can figure out the problem and share us, because there is something wrong with WM 6.1 builds.

i think PIMBackup have some issues, when you restore using ActivSync, i don't think you will get these errors (but i'm not sure, so i need some comments from users)

I think I narrowed it down a bit. Did a fresh flash with the newest ATT/Cingular ROM with the 1.54 radio.

Got everything set up with the below programs:
UltimateLaunch 1.2
SPB MobileShell 2.0
rlToday v12
CalPlus 2.5
BatteryStatus Ext Clock 1.05
AEButtonPlus 2.6
PMC TodayShrink 3.1
Shamanix Notepad
Schaps Registry Editor
OggSync Pro

Once these were all set up tested for a bit and everything seems to be working fine. Created a sprite backup and then tried to restore data using the version of PIMBackUp I usually use (version 2.6). Left all options selected to restore (messages, contacts, tasks, etc.). Immediate lock up and hard-reset.

Flashed back to the sprite backup and tried again unselecting all but contact information, still hard-reset.

Flashed back and used the PPCPimBackup (version 2.6) located in \Windows to restore just contacts and call logs. This worked fine and currently everything seems ok.

So, for me at least, the problem seems to be with using a non-cooked-in version of PimBackup. All the other applications mentioned above are working well so far.

Thanks for the ROM, I did run Professional for while but I experienced excessive drain and warm up of battery and no lock with connection to Weather Panel or HTC.

I installed your rom last night and it's pretty amazing. This is my first 6.1

Rom, but I've read alot about the instability issues. I do have a few

little quirks though, can't send any MMS, (gonna try to flash att radio as

stated in a previous post), battery drain is pretty bad, (gonna let that

drain down and recharge, see what happens,) but the strangest is when I hit

the speaker icon to get the bubble, it pops up for a second and then data

bubble pops up, so I can't adjust the volume. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks for all your hard work.

I installed the Professional Version and changed PP to 6mb. I also found it to be using a high volume of memory.

Also, holy shit! I've run it for 4 hours without being on the charger and I'm down to 30%!

We'll see how it goes after the battery drains and recharges.

I've attached screen shots to show memory consumption.

same here. can't figure out the problem. wm 6.1 is battery hungry. i've tried almost all wm 6.1 roms (also trying diff radio versions as well), same problem there.

Well, nothing but constant freezing on boot up for me. Been trying to figure out what program is causing this but to no avail, cannot narrow it down. I installed, then loaded each program followed by a soft-reset. No problems. Then after a few minutes I get a slow memory leak and then it all slows down to a crawl. Then soft-reset and I hang on boot up. Then have to hard reset to original. :(

I'm using 1.48 and had massive drain.

Odd thing with the battery drain here...

Went from 100% to 30% in 3 hours...then stayed at 30% for another 4 hours...same use level....then it took 2 hours for it to drop to 0%.

Charging it up now to see how it goes tomorrow.

changed it to battery, removed the battery icon from the taskbar and now

my little bubble works fine.Don't know how it appeared because is wasn't

there when I first flashed. Also flashed ATT 1.54 radio, back to 1.48 to

On regard of this... This is comming since wm 6.0 new build. It takes less time to charge than older build. May be that is why it charge faster and go fully charged and after a coumple of minutes u see 90%.

yes , because when you charge when the battery is hot you get fast charge (this due to low current it is taking) the miter of the battery calculates the % by the current the battery takes

try to put the battery in the freezer first for 20 minutes and then charge

You're stuck in bootloader mode right now. Actually I'd disconnect the PDA from the USB cable, Hold OK and Power buttons and press and hold the reset until you see the bootloader screen. Connect the cable. Run the RomInside executable, it typically works. (The same thing happened to me with this ROM, locked configuring my AS to my Exchange server, soft reset and was stuck in the bootloader. I did these same steps on the side of I95 in Miami and got back and running.)

I don't use Activesync...

I flashed straight from a healthy card as I've flashed the past 20 upgrades WITHOUT a PC:
- healthy card, formatted in my PDA (old Resco Pocket Explorer)
- the .nbh renamed to HERMIMG.nbh
- reset while holding in OK+power (takes a few reset hits until the white screen appears)

My problems: I barely used it. Made a few phone calls, found it locks up, possibly after calls (maybe)... it locks up while booting after I soft reset, too... NO software installed!

Version: professional

opinion: I don't like the colorful icons or the clock style (...FYI)

I will be flashing this at a later version, but it's probably back to Pays now... thanks!

This is a great ROM, but there is one aspect which I have problems with.

When setting up my email account (a btintenet one), there is no option to set it up manually. When the email 'new account' utility searches for the btinternet settings, it sets up an IMAP account.

With an IMAP setup, all emails arrive at my Hermes as already 'read' so the HTC Home Page shows no new emails.

Does anyone know how to make the TNT new email account utility accept manual settings, so that I can set up my account as a POP3 one, thereby receiving 'unread' emails?

Thanks.

I had the same problem with setting up Yahoo POP3 and IMAP account.

When signing up for POP3 account, I set the account to a fake email address i.e. me@rubbish.com, the ROM then cant find the settings for this ISP and allow you to set account manually.

You then go back into the account after it is setup (via in Messages, Menu>Tools>Options> and your fake account and you can change to your correct btinternet email address and username.

Hope this helps!

I can't get MMS to work properly. I ran the Connection Setup and all the AT&T info is correct. I also turned on both SMS sent and delivery notifications (someone mentioned in the thread that this fixes SMS/MMS) in Advanced Config. My MMS messages just stay in the Outbox, they never send. SMS works fine though. Any suggestions on getting MMS to work?

Otherwise, the ROM has been running pretty good so far. I've only had a couple of lockups that required a soft reset, but I am running a lot of software. SPB software (Diary, Phone Suite, Mobile Shell, Wallet, Weather), Sprite Backup, Coreplayer, Dashwire, VITO FunContacts, Garmin Mobile XT, Touchpal, Listpro, Live Search, Memmaid, SK Tools, Newsgator Go, and Sirius WM5.

As many others I discovered that this otherwise very good ROM eats my battery twice faster than official one, so I did a little investigation.

First I run acbTaskMan and found that sustained power consumption of the device in the idle state is about 100 mA, while on the official ROM I was getting about 40 mA. Why would it be? I looked at the processor chart and found that my CPU is 100% busy all the time, even when it suppose to be doing nothing. Application which consumes 90% of the CPU is services.exe. Well that does not help much as a few dozens of services are running inside it and each one can be a culprit.

Here another great (and very new) application came to rescue – Services Browser (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/mobile/ServiceBrowser.aspx). It allowed me to list all the services running inside services.exe and turn them off one by one. Soon enough I discovered that it is A2DPFix.dll (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284974 ) causing all the trouble. It spins infinite loop doing nothing. It does it using the IDLE priority so it does not slow anything down, BUT it causes that constant high battery consumption which kills the battery twice as fast.

So I went to Settings –> Remove Programs and removed A2DPFix, then rebooted. My idle CPU consumption dropped to single digits and power consumption dropped to quite reasonable 36 mA.

I did not check the actual battery life yet, but I expect it to be much better now.

Thank you!

But what about the skiping music problem after deleting or turning this off?

This fix was not required for ALL roms, only for some of them. I don't listen music through BT, so I cannot check, but it is quite possible that the problem A2DPFix tries to fix does not exist in this ROM in the first place.

If it would appear that the fix is still required for this ROM those who care can try to ask Sleuth to improve it so that it runs its empty loop only when necessary, i.e. when media player is active or something like that.

Are you sure you have the problem with battery drain we are trying to solve then? Can you download free program acbPowerMeter from here http://www.acbpocketsoft.com/Products/acbPowerMeter/acbPowerMeter-Overview-2.html and check what current your device consumes in the idle state. If it is less than 50 mA you may be good without any changes.

Anyway I don't understand how can you not have A2DPFix installed if you have this TNT ROM. Have you altered the installation process in any way?

BigBen

yes , because when you charge when the battery is hot you get fast charge (this due to low current it is taking) the miter of the battery calculates the % by the current the battery takes

try to put the battery in the freezer first for 20 minutes and then charge

edward

Uh, putting the battery in the freezer isn't going to help anything, to the best of my knowlege. Unless you are using the "vanilla" version of the ROM, and you think you have to keep your Hermes cold :p

The only effect freezing the battery would be to lengthen the charging cycle a tiny bit, until the battery came back up to room temperature.

Keeping the old lead-acid batteries in the fridge used to be a way for people who used a lot of batteries in their professional lives, to keep them "fresh." You know, alligator hunters, gumshoes, people stranded on desert islands, who need to keep their signal lights going, vampire slayers, people like that.

But with Lithium Ion or polymer batteries, I can't even begin to imagine a positive effect of freezing them. Unless someone provides more convincing information, I would think freezing them could even harm them, by altering their programmed charge cycle or damaging the components or circuitry.

In fact, I just googled the subject, and came up with this, from what looks to me like a pretty serious website:
-------------------------------
Storage

When you wish to store a Li cell or your device for a prolonged period of time you should ensure that it is kept away from direct sunlight, in low humidity and as cold as possible (down to refrigerator temperature at most, never freeze them). 15 degrees Celsius is optimal.

------------------------------------------
Charging

Lithium-Ion cells use a microchip to maintain a very delicately balanced charge rate. If you have any reason to believe that the battery has sustained shock or damage that could in any way affect the circuitry you should dispose of the battery immediately.
If the circuitry is not working correctly to maintain the charge level the cell may explode."
That's from this website:

http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/cesd/h/0015.asp
--------------------------------------

And this:

If you have a spare lithium-ion battery, use one to the fullest and keep the other cool by placing it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze the battery. For best results, store the battery at 40% state-of-charge.

From this very convincing website:

http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm
-----------------------------------------------

Bottom line: Don't screw around with your device guys, including the batteries, unless you really know what you are doing. Edward-Riko, old buddy, I'd llike to know where you got the idea, but it doesn't look like a good one from where I stand.

Ben

dear bigben
my idea of freezing the battery comes from understanding the physics of atoms , the temperature in home freezers is around -4C , so it cant harm your battery , it will have some effect to improve the capacity of you battery (it depends how old is your battery)

i did this experiment on my battery and i got some small improvement

for the problem of battery drain with this rom , the registry tweaks posted by its right improve the batter life

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0

in addition pleas go to
HKLM/ControlPanel/Beam/Hide
and change the value to 0 , then tern the device off and on , after that go to
Start >Settings > Connections >Beam
and unchecke Receive all incoming beams

Thanks for your reply. Glad it worked for you (my freezer is closer to -9 C, but whatever.)

And thanks for the additional power-saving information. Battery drain on these devices can be a real problem, whichever ROM we use. I just bought a high-capacity battery for that reason. I hate the extra bulk, but needed the extra power.

Regards from Florida, USA. 26 degrees C and sunny right now.

Install via cab the Arcsoft MMSv4.2.8.1

The only issues I found after installing is
1. a white blank option (not clickable) at the point there was the MMS Options(below Send/Receive)
2. The old name to sms account (=SMS/MMS)

And the Plus is you get split MMS / SMS accounts

As many others I discovered that this otherwise very good ROM eats my battery twice faster than official one, so I did a little investigation.

So I went to Settings –> Remove Programs and removed A2DPFix, then rebooted. My idle CPU consumption dropped to single digits and power consumption dropped to quite reasonable 36 mA.

@konste: Excellent Catch!!

@its right: You should note this battery drain resolution in post#1.

Very nice ROM but I´ve also problems with battery drain and no possibility to remove A2DP from the program list.
My Radio ROM is still 1.47.30.10 as on all my ROMs before so the battery drain isn´t depending on the Radio
Good news - Bluetooth works with Audi MMI without disconnections

1. Thank you! :)
2. A couple questions about this ROM:

What text and in what language does it show up on the boot up screen? Just curious.

How to configure phone clock to set itself from the cell network?

Thank you!
Konstantin

Hi Konstantin, tha answers to your questions are as below

1. the language is arabic, its a quote from Islam, am not sure what Font It's Right used, but this Rom was was done by an arabian developer.

2. Go to Phone/Menu/Options/Time Zones/click the automatic change time zone and clock.

Updates and Fixes:

17/Mar/2008 Update:

because some of users want to edit beam (which is hiden in this rom, to manage their battery life), so i will make some new cabs which is working in all version (official/professional) which are giving you more abilities and more fixes.

1- remove Sleuth's A2DPFix from [start/settings/system/remove programs] and then accept the reset window (this application installed by SDAutoRun, so if you can deal with SDAutoRun, you can remove it from xxTNTxx and then edit SDConfig.txt to remove CAB: \Storage Card\xxTNTxx\A2DPFix.CAB) tnx to konste.

2- install the cab file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=76634&stc=1&d=1205975258) which show your beam application in system.

3- after the reseting, go to beam in [start/settings/connections/beam] and remove the tick.

4- at this point, your BT will be disabled and will never accept the receiving files (even if you enable it in beam), so save the reg file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=76298&stc=1&d=1205784570) which enable the receiving whenever you want to receive a file (attached) and don't forget to disable receiving files by beam when finish to get more battery life.

Enjoy

I downloaded this ROM and almost flashed it until I read about the MMS problem

I would rather a combined SMS/MMS Inbox but no point if it doesn't work.

If this can be fixed I would be happy as I do not use A2DP and the other problems wouldn't bother me I don't think

Good work apart from that from what I've read! :D

Nice ROM. Thanks for the work.

However- I've had this problem with other ROMs- When I go to Sounds and Notifications and try to adjust my ringtone, the change doesn't take, and the Sounds & Notifications window will not close. The end result is NO ringtone - just silent or vibrating incoming calls.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Odd occurrence...could use some guidance, also.

So I tested out all my of my programs and decided to HR and start from scratch in case some of the programs I uninstalled had some remains in the ROM. So I HR...then re-install the ROM (Professional Version).

Now, I cannot find my activesync icon in /windows, /windows/programs or /windows/programs/connections.

Does any know where else it could be so I can cut and paste it?

BTW, activesync did connect through "set up an email" in the Getting Started menu. It is showing in task manager but I cannot find it anywhere!

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Anybody else having problems with Windows Media Player resuming after the call has finished? This seems to happen in particular when using a bluetooth ear piece but I think it's happen when I haven't as well. Basically, I get the call and it pauses the .mp3 as normal but when the call ends, instead of going back to playing, I get an error about it's not ready and the song basically stops (it looses it position and goes back the start and does no resume playback).

This is quite anonoying and I don't believe limited to this rom (I THINK it's happen on other 6.1 roms that I tried but can't swear to it - I do know it's happened to this rom however)

Thanks

HELP Getting the most out of this rom

1) Uninstall Sleuth's A2DPFix- battery drain problem
2) When Loading your own ringtone sound is low (cant change volume) - solution disable SRS_WOW_Sound_1_2_1
3) Needs PTT fix - tested & posted here
4) Comm/volume bubble when in a call - Delete HKLM>services>LargeTitleBar and soft reset it to fix
5) Can someone post the reg path the startup folder - and please post the cab for startup manager
6) A fix for beam etc has been posted - link from post #1

EXTRAS NEEDED Could you also include Startup manager and the X-button.

EXTRA PERFORMANCE
6-12 MB Pagepool (higher the faster)

Until now you could get NET CF3.5 as default only if you cooked it into a ROM. But I've found the registry setting that can disable the default net CF 2.0 and enable net CF 3.5 as default. There is a noticable increase in speed and it shows on the benchmarks as well. I used to get 1320 on mine now I'm getting 1499 with VBenchmark.

What you need to do:

1. Install NetCF3.5 on your ppc.
2. Open a registry editor, I use Reso Regsitry Editor
3. Goto HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework (this is usually the first entry
4. When you open this you'll see all the .NET installed version change the DWORD value of 2.0.7045.00 from 1 to 0
5. Chang ethe DWORD value of 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1.
6. Reboot
7.Viola! you have a faster PPC

Update, found a cab that does this work for you at Modaco. Link is located http://www.modaco.com/content/Window...ing-your-ROM-/

and the file thanks to Paul(MVP) from Modaco
"http://rapidshare.com/files/74601710/NetCF_v3.5_all.rar"

GREAT ROM - Can we have an SP1 please :)

Thanks heaps - will post more as it comes to hand.
