hi to all,
i m from asia. i m goin 2 visit europe in 2 weeks time. where can i find a good gps software (garmin que or tomtom)? where to download? and where can i get the map? thanks to all in advance.

if your using 3G you could also use Googlemaps for the phone.

The only free one I know of is Googlemaps that I already spoke about. tTough you pay for the data downloaded via your ISP using 3G/Wifi.
tbh who would make a GPS Navigation application and ask nothing for it?

How about smart2go, you can download the maps for free of Europe and do navigation (on screen) all for free. The only bit you pay for is the voice prompts.
I use tomtom, but I've given it a go and it works pretty well. I'm planning on using it in greece later in the year as there's better coverage than the version of tomtom I have.
It's a little fiddly to get the map loader program to install the maps, but if you try and have a problem let me know and I'll try and find out what I did to get it working.

Nobody can give you a link to Pirated software on this forum, sorry. Search Google for that.
Another FREE alternative is Microsoft Live Search. It's actually a pretty good GPS program if you look around in it. Also, it uses speech recognition to input what you are looking for. Give it a try.
