Has anyone had problems with their touchscreen not responding to their pen or fingertips? I received my Shift a couple of days ago and I have tried everything that I know to get the touchscreen working. Called support, but they had no solutions as well. The funny thing is, that when the computer first boots, after I enter my password, I can control the cursor for a couple of seconds and then it loses all ability to pick up my movements and taps. Also, when I reset snapvue, I can move the scroll bars but cannot double tap any icons to launch. I am sure it is some sort of software issue, but I have limited UMPC experience.

I had the same problem. I had put my screenprotector the wrong way.
So, try to take of the sheet. Maybe that may help!

Isnt that just classic, I didnt know that you could put a screen protector on the wrong way. Well theres a couple days I wont be getting back. Out of curiosity, what is the right way to put the screen protector on? Thanks for the response - all is well, except for my slight embarassment!

Hmm... a screen protector is sticky on one side, and not on the other.
How do you put it on the wrong way?

Well, just put it once more. But under the edges you should put it correctly. Try your fingernails to put it firmly under the edges.
