it would be awesome if there was a one button switch for 3g in the home launcher, like the 3g button in the comm manager. maybe a chef or C / C++ programmer can make one?... please.
did some searching but no luck. this is what I found:

bandswitch uses the registry key \\SOFTWARE\\OEM\\UMTS\\OpMode then resets the radio. don't know how this works in the comm manager, think its the same.

this guy made a Skschema script. but I 'm looking for the ultimate launcher
that can toggle 3g or maybe we can put all the comm manager buttons in the launcher! :)
or maybe its possible to make a new "comm manager" tab in htc home?

I think it would be a couple of hours work for a programmer (correct me if I am wrong) to:
1: change band selection to GSM or 3g in registry
2: switch flightmode ON and OFF.
so.... who wants to have the ultimate launcher?!
