Here is the worst question about these ROMs coming..
Is there any braveheart(s) who can give (+)s and (-)s of these ROMs.
For a newbie it is really impossible to follow all threads of all ROM(s) to see the (+)s and (-)s of them..
So...
Can someone prepare a comparison??

and my personal question is what is WM6 and WM6.1 differences..

Note that I'm still using my prophet with its original WM5 ROM...

I understand what you mean, but to be honest, it's not really possible... one person's plus is another's minus... I know that may sound like a cop out, but all ROMs have positives and negatives. The thing we all learn to do is try them out one by one and decide what is best for us. Just for example, I've seen praise for a ROM that I didn't like at all - alternatively, ROMs that I have loved I seen people complain badly. The variables are so vast that no one person can make a proper comparison for the rest... it depends on use, needs, wants and even level of patience the user has.

Give a few of the new ones a try and see what you like - just read intensively here on the threads, you'll see what I mean in the discussions :)

But remember, read, read, and then read some more before you attempt your first flash (assuming you haven't)

I have a problem! I acquired one recently orange spv m600 and would like to place a rom wm6 the problem is that I only obtain to place 1 rom (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID) all roms that I tested, after to run ROMUpdateUtility he is blocked in the three colors menu. somebody can give me the tip of which rom in English or Portuguese i can place wm6?

for such a rom listing, it would be very helpful to add the publish / last update date for each rom...

also, the latest ones are missing - such a rom list should better reside in the wiki, so that multiple people can edit it :)

nice suggestions..
i only highlight the wm6.1 which means it is the latest roms version available.
now i'm having a big problem online at home because my local area network cables has been stolen :mad: so, no network service available :mad:
it takes about 4-5 months for the local department to settle this case.
i only can online at my office during weekday.
i'm sorry for any missing/ late update for this directory.

A suggestion for next updates of this wonderful list: whenever you add or update a rom, also include/update the release date.

I think, old roms don't have to be updated - too much work. Maybe just some of the latest ones.

Usefull post but... Why isnt this put up in The wiki page?

Thats the spot to put all the updates in and everybody can edit the date and times and roms etc. ?

The wiki is editable for everybody anytime so.... there will be a longer period of updated information.

so my question is why dont we use the wiki to create a overview?

The reason is that very few people can actually be bothered to use the wiki (I'd love to be proved wrong on this though!) and without threads like this, people post new threads with no real purpose that just clogs up the forum.

If anyone has any requests for this post, I'm sure a PM to duato would work. Alternatively, if duato is happy for me to edit his post, people can PM me with requests.

Gullum has released several multilingual ROMs ("Coffee ROMs", and "Diamond Multi").

Diamond multilanguage is here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=409698).

You'll need HardSPL to flash the ROM.

hi, sorry to sound a bit of a noob, but i just want to change my phone from spanish to english, which i understand i need to flash the rom with one of your files, but when i looked at the original post there are loads to choose from... what is the difference between them all???? i just want to change my phone into english! can someone help please?? thank you!

The simplest option would be to flash a WM5 Shipped ROM from the wiki.

It may be possible to just run the RUU provided with the ROM, but if the CIDs do not match, you'll need Hard/Soft SPL.

there is no best ROM. you should read what each ROM includes and decide which one best suits your needs.

for the record im currently using wm61_korand_3_1 and am very happy with it.

Could anyone reccomend a fastest WM 6.1 firmware for Prophet (Qtek S200)
Yesterday I'm flashed my S200 by "Prophet ShadoW 2.0 Touch Edition", but now it works very slowly. ^(

I'd recommend you try a few "Clean" ROMs, and see which one is best for you.

There are quite a few around created by Cloudyfa, and some by me, and there are some more full featured (yet still fast ROMs) by Dioxda2, and varanusvincent amongst others.

Maybe I can get it by extracting from some ROMs?
