WM6 Scandinavian keyboard Qtek 9100

Hi!

Nobody knows how to get keyboard shortcuts working on WM6?
On WM5 it works ok, after i install sym-patch software. tryed to use same software on WM6 Roms, but not working.
Tested many different roms.

If somebody can help me and others :)

Hi,

First I installed SkandinaviskTastatur5 and then I changed the registry like this:

1. HKCU >> ControlPanel >> Keybd
create string named Locale and put 4-digit code of your keyboard (my german wizard with WM6.0 WWE ROM uses 0407)

2. HKCU >> keyboard layout >> Preload >> 1 >> Default
change value of last 4 digits to your code (in my case, I changed e0010409 to e0010407)

3. HKCU >> keyboard layout >> Preload >> Default
change value of last 4 digits to your code (in my case, I changed e0010409 to e0010407)

4. exit registry editor and continue to operate your device for few minutes. After that, softreset. Caution: sometimes your wizard "forgets" to write modifications to your registry, so repeat this procedure 'till it works.

I wanted swedish keyboard so I change to 1414 for Norwegian because the Swedish code didn't work.

I now have a swedish keabord layout and it works with my Qtek 9100 keyboard too. Worked with all the WM6 roms I have tried.

What do you think is the best or ok WM6 ROM? i have tryed maybe 10 different ROMs, and still looking :)
Qtek 9100 is too slow for WM6 and i need to use Over clocking.

So, I'm curious. Did it work out ?

I really liked XDA Mobile 6 release 3 but it made my qtek a bit slow and I didn't want to use over clocking because it's a workpda
I then tried some other roms but now I'm back with the original rom for my qtek. Haven't found one that I really like yet.
But I love the HTC home plugin so I have that installed now with my WM5 and it works great :)

Still looking too I guess...

jep, it allmoust worked. had to use norwagian keyboard code. no swedish or finnish worked.

I have xda mobile 6 version and it works like a charn :)
no trying to find keyboard change to universal qtek 9000.
haven't found it yet!

do you have an idea where to look? tried everything allmoust.
