Read post # 13 of this threat (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376211&page=2), it may help.

Ive been running my own WM6.1 ROM for ages....not a single hard reset yet....faria's and others are most likely far better/more optimised than mine so it sounds like an isolated issue.

As suggested try flashing an OEM rom then one of the WM6.1 ROMS.

Also id check the device for bad blocks aswell.

Running CRCinAU since about 3 weeks without a single issue. Great battery, no memory problem. Menus are still fast like after fresh install.

I didn't find 6.1 hard reset itself or required me to to it unexpectedly either, although I did get lockups, slowdowns and beam issues.

I keep trying the 6.1s as they arrive or get a major update but it's still 6.0/3.60 Big Storage I go back to afterward for the moment.

I have Pandora Naked 6.1 ROM v9 beta 1. No hard reset issues so far. Indeed very stable for me.

I've been running CRC's for a while with no crashes. Battery life and speed have been good. Very stable.

Same here, CRC's was the most stable 6.1 release I installed on my hermes. Faria's release was a tad faster, but unfortunately got stuck on the bootscreen af a few days.

But I'm back on K's WM6 ROM now, will wait for a final 6.1 release.

IF you are one of the many experiencing hard resets with WM6.1 ROM's as I have. Use CRC's PHK build. This build is NOT a BigStorage build and so far has not had a hard reset for me. And I had hard resets allll time time on any other 6.1 ROM (of course all others had BigStorage.)
