How to edit initflashfiles.dat?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to built my own beta rom for a long time.
everything goes well until I tried to edit initflashfiles.dat.
The problem is after flashing with the new edited initflashfiles.dat, my rom could not run setup, and could not copy files automatically.
I tried to edit with EmEditor, UltraEdit and notpad in my CHS Vista system.
Could you tell me where the problem is or which software should I take in use?
Or the problem is because my oprating system or anything else?

what did you try removing? I'd start small and ensure you have the file format and such correct before making major changes. Some seeminly insignificant links might cause it.

1. Edit the file with notepad.
2. Remove the extra bits at the begin of the file
3. Enjoy ! :)
