AT&T Bloat Help Needed

I am using a Tilt with original ROM. I prevented the AT&T bloatware from loading by doing the reset trick. Everything has been going fine for the last 6 months, but sometime over the last couple of weeks, all the bloat reappeared and I have no storage memory left.

I recall reading posts from about 6 months ago that I should install one of the Cingular proxies or something to prevent bloatware from reappearing after a reset, but I can't find that info on any of my searches.

Please advise.

I plan on doing a hard reset/update of firmware, but am afraid that this bloatware will reappear again later. Any advice to prevent this from happening?

FWIW, I'd say that's definitely the way to go. Then see what happens. If it happens again, I'd suggest speaking to AT&T. Seems pretty bizarre and I'd worry about a bigger issue with the unit.

I'll bet no one responded because it's a pretty odd scenario that perhaps people haven't seen/heard of before.
