asked in the thread but seems to have gotten lost among replies of wifi and battery life.

So how do you run Sprint iota.exe on the new rom? if i click it to run nothing happens. I'm having roaming data issues and my home SID is 0/0 instead of 4139 something...

anyone?

Search for something called IOTA.cab and install it. That's it.

look in the 3.0.0 thread the iota cab is posted there, it may be like iota22.cab or somethign. run it, then run ie

i ran IOTA_1128.cab that someone posted in the 3.0.1 thread. did nothing. Is there some other cab thats supposed to work?

do you have more then one number on the plan? if yes you should call sprint and you will find that you did something wrong, but its all good cuz its not broke!

just the one number on the plan. The main reason I want to IOTA back up is too see if it will update my SID.

What are the Sprint fellas getting under SID? mine are all zeros.

for those that dont know how to get there.... ##778# , select view, then View Info, then Home SID.

Mine are all zeros also. I'm running dcd 3.0.0 with the external iota cab file.

IOTA should work
you are looking at SID under fieldtrial? if youre not associated to a SID, IOTA isnt going to work in the first place. check your programming.

What is IOTA' s purpose. Will my phone run any better with or without it
?

i believe its to pull your data settings from your carrier. that is, if you have a data plan like sprint's powervision.
