Dead wifi on my HTC TYTN

Hello,
I am unable to connect with my TYTN to any wifi network, secured/unsecured. After turning wifi on (in comm manager), those lines near wifi icon (indicating that device is searching for wifi networks) appears just for 1sec, and then disappears. And that is all...
Please is there any known solution or is my wifi really dead?

My ROM: Schap's 4.31 (I already tried different ROM without any luck)
My Radio: 1.50.00.00

Does your MAC address show ok? It may be worth having a look at this thread.

downgrading to SPL 1.10 ok, but
while downgrading SPL (to 1.04), after message of succesfully flash on PC screen - PDA display turned off and my TYTN stops responding completely...

authorized service is my only last chance...

Sorry to hear it bricked. You could try this which has been recommended by another member before.

1.) Remove battery
2.) Connect Hermes to charger or USB
3.) Insert the battery while Hermes is connected to charger
4.) Red light should turn Amber
5.) Soft Reset
