wmwifi no internet

Verizon vx6800 with DCD's 3.0.0 (new sprint rom)
Came with ICS in the rom package.
Installed wmwifi 0.91....no problems, wmwifi and ics start up great,my laptop finds the new network (via wlan)...aka the 2 pcs connected icon on bottom right corner of my vista laptop.
but i do not have the internet/network icon ( 2 pc's with the earth icon between)....thus no internet.
What settings have i missed on either the Titan phone or on my pc ?
I notice that the phone messages me "remote party has terminated"..like Verizon is booting me.
fyi..I have the Data plan and pay for it.

i am an ex verizon employee, and they will NOT let you thether without paying for the extra 15 bucks to tether the hone, and the phone has to be supported by them to do so. I know that your probably thinking,
Data is data right? Well wrong by there books. Now my tmibile wing everyonce in a while will end connection by remote party. but i just reboot and then it works fine. Hope this helps even though it sucks. Can Verizon is my oppinion.
