Hi everybody,
I Have installed bepe 0.67 Premium Edition, all run ok, but only one problem, when I make a call I put the number or serach in contacts after I put the call button I have a White Screen and I don't know if the call is initial, or how minutes take the call. Below the white screen I have the traditional buttons: Speaker on, Mute, video
Note , Contacts, End.

How I can fix this problem..

I fix this error, just browse the HOME directory on the root modible and replace the white image pic to black image pic!!! Yeah!!!!

I just 'upgraded' from the Athena to Polaris. Though the resolution is significantly different....I'm extremely happy to have a phone that I can hold, put in carry case, and put it on my belt.

I'm looking for a good ROM. I did the hard-spl (first thing I did). I'm currently using the official ROM. Dont if I should keep this ROM and tweak it or flash something different? But I'm looking for specific:

Speed
alot of Ram
More Storage
hopefully newer Opera
and the most important Touchflo 3d

I have heard about this ROM bepe, but I figured I post to see what people's opinion of the variety ROMs.

Note: There are alot of ROM's for this device. Its like a buffet. But i dont know whats good, what will work with my stomach, what people are eating the most. What are people using as a ROM these days.

BTW....I'm still doing alot of the reading for these threads. Alot of stuff to go over.

Roms by pdaviet are i think the best so far.

There is no touchflo 3d, at least not a practical working version.

There are some imitators that use different today plugins, throttlelauncher being the best I have seen so far, so google that one.

bepes rom aint bad, but there is no further development for it. if you want the newest builds then you have to checkout the other cooks work.

So is it really one of those things that I have to try as many roms as I can until i find the right one? There are alot of ROM's for this device. I have read alot of them, but I havent found one that clearly states, "you should dump the official ROM for this".

Of course figuretively speaking:D


Its hard to weigh if this ROM will have what i expect.......

I have installed .67 bepe ROM on my Touch Cruise, all i have to say is wow, it is the most stable rom i downloaded, for reference ive install almost over 10 roms from udK, swtos, itje etc.. while all have there ups and down ur rom gave basic function awsome added features, SPEED, stability, and plenty of room to upgrade, running the ROM standard, with SPB Mobile Shell 2.1, various small cabs, and using 1.58.xx.xx radio from the udk r8 rom.

It's just about included software.
Premium - there are all programs as in original Cruise.
Opera - there is no TomTom included
Standart - dunno
Basic - just OS without any additional software.

I dont know whether you've been following the 3D driver development thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426314), but the driver is in a "working" state and our testing has shown some significant performance increases.

We would appreciate if you could include these files in a future release to allow for testing as we have seen different performance gains and decreases from our own testing but believe that some of this could be attributable to the files not being cooked into the rom.

I hope you will assist us in our quest to better our devices.

And I must say, I was looking for the fastest & more stable spanish ROM for Polaris... And after months of seeking, I still has not found anything like Bepe 0.67 Basic: it allows full upgrade of Java, Opera, TomTom/Igo... Yes, there are newer builds out there, but who cares when you have one that is really good?

Of course, I am speaking of non-Manila ROMS. Very good work of the cookers of Manila2D ROMs, but if (as my case) you use your polaris for work (full outlook sync, more than 2000 contacts/tasks/notes, Office files, PDF, CAD...), you need fast response & memory, I have tried 4 manila roms and all of them starts after a reset with at least 55% of memory loaded... Not interesting in showing how beautiful are the animations of weather tab (for example)...

But I can not install it ? How should I manage this ?
I have a O2 Orbit II , which is similar to Polaris. I have make a update from O2 to Windows Mobile 6.1.
But I want to install this ROM : Bepe 0.67 GER Premium

I have clicked the file "ROM UPDATE UTILITY " from Bepe 0.67 GER Premium download (unzip). But it doesn`t start to update . Just an error message, that i should remove the usb cable and take away the battery and start again my Smartphone . Can anybody help me, how i can make the ROM running on my O2 Orbit II with Windows Mobile 6.1 ?
I just want to have bepe´s rom on it.

Follow the instructions.

anyway... this is Hard-SPL, when you load it and the SPL runs, it'll display the 3 colours then ask you to REPLUG your usb cable, please unplug and re-plug and wait a good few seconds and this will disappear.

within seconds the device will then become upgraded to Hard-SPL.

once that's done, enjoy, you're unlocked.

also please note this Hard-SPL is based on an MFG, for those of you who intend to play.
When is ok you can flash bepe ROM.

Well documented and remember that installing a cooked ROM will void your warranty.

Or any other recommended build, including these improvements with a good perfomance such as Bepe's ?

Hi Sith, normally the ROM cooker will states the HardSPL which can work with their ROM flashing. Just pick the ROM suits your device and I'm sure that a link for HardSPL will be mentioned there.

how long are you waiting? radio ROM often stops at 99% for a few minutes before completing

Tomtom 7 works best. Tomtom 6 works OK but wrong resolution.

you will most likely have to flash a Radio 1.58.xx version to have
the camera working with this rom. If you have 1.59.xx version
with 1.60 OEM (you will see this both, when your device starts,
the three red lines at the right bottom of the screen), camera
won't work.

OEM 3.13 work with Radio 1.59.xx and 1.65.xx
OEM 1.24/1.25/1.60 work with Radio 1.58.xx and 1.64.xx

For this ROM u can only use 1.58.XX.XX or 1.64.XX.XX

On a less serious note: Was the lens cap removed? Hahaha...

Many thx for this rom (0.65 FRE premium), all is perfect, except one thing, so i'm very disappointed : the keyboards dose'nt work with Opera ! Must use the letters handwriting with stylus, it's too bad cause the integrated keyboards in the rom are very usefull and pretty ! Maybe some fixes do exists for this ? It should be great, cause it's the only gripe i've with this excellent rom...

I just want to give precisions about my previous post : effectively camera dont work with radio 1.58; will test an other soon.
The only keyboard that works in opera is the full azerty, others keyboards dont work : they give numbers only...
Someone else have the same problem with keyboards ?
