If you want to ask Chandra only, why you won't use PM?... :confused:
It's shellres.96.dll, but if you know nothing about that, you won't succeed, it needs either signing or XIPing.

I read on one of the other thread also, you wanted to ask me many questions. I am all for you guys bro! But my knowledge also has its own limitations. So, may not be able to fully answer many of the queries. But, neverthless shall try to answer as many as I can.
On this great forum when you launch a thread there are many who have answer to those issues which you have addressed. This forum is full of genius whose knowledge level is very difficult to fathom. So pl dont mind if any other knowledgeable person tries to answer your queries. You should appriciate his efforts which he has made to extend towards you. You can always PM me whenever you like if you have anything pointed towards me specially. I hope you shall understand the system here. so going straight to your queries....

Firstly
You wanted my opinion about inserting WM6.1 features into WM2003 so that the speed of WM2003 can also be enjoyed. So, to be very precise I Wouldnot recommend that. The upgrades of OS are designed by microsoft with certain intrinsic features embeded into it and many a times the file system of the databases are also changed. So it is (in my opinion) a wasteful exercise to fiddle with that for not so very significant gains.
And according to my observations the speed of WM6.1 is not so naticeably less than WM2003 any longer and on the other hand embedded with lot many advantages & features which make me happily sacrifice the minor reduction of speed over WM2003 .

secondly
The icons of WM6.0 are more or less similar to those of WM6.1. And as explained by utak3r already, the most of the system icons are in shellres.96.dll, shellresapps.dll, shellresapps.96.dll. But, unless you know how to dump rom and cook it back, you would not be able to change the icons.
Another way is to create a separate resource dll having the icons of your choice and edit the shortcuts of the applications to show those icons. That you can easily do without any advance knowledge of cooking.
