installing in the memory card

Hi everybody.
Sorry in advance for the dullness of my question, I'm a complete new user.
I am having troubles because although I set "memory card" everytime I'm installing a software, for some reason it get installed in the phone. If I use pocket mechanics to move the application, it cannot find where the appliation is installed (I get a lot of ????? in the location folder), so it cannot move it either....

Any suggestion??

It depends on the the way the cab is configured. some cabs are configured rather restrictively and will always install to main no matter what you choose. More and more newer cabs are less restrictive, since we now have large SD cards, access to extROM.

Depending on the app, you can try performing the install, then move the files where you wish and update your shortcuts. Some apps do not respond well to this, in which case just undo what you did.

I know this always happens with Google Maps for some reason (maybe because is beta?). If that is the software you're trying to install, just copy the folder to the SD Card and update the shortcut and it should work.
