Couple this one with a Sprint charger , Clip it to the vent and you are on your way. It can be found at Target and Advance auto parts. Of course you can buy a 119 dollars dash from Seidio if you wish however this one if for simple guys looking for functionality and low price.

Note:Pictures taken with the mean Sanyo 9000. That is a great phone.

I had one almost identical to that when I had my PPC6700Q, but it had a bendable arm rather than a vent mount.. needless to say, my car rides a little rough thanks to lowered suspension and the bendable arm broke, dropping my nearly new PPC6700Q on the shift knob, which happened to be made of solid aluminum.

Glad yours is working out for you, though :D

Thanks Mak, so far so good man. That thing has a good grip on the Mogul,it ain't going nowhere unless I flip that biatch again, but then I didn't flip any since I stopped drinking 5 years ago.lol:D

hey Total:
This is a good unit man, you do not have to add anything . Just take it out of the box, install te clips and get the side arms to open up to hug the mogul tight since they are adjustable. No vibrations. Give it a shot.

is "Stype" the brand? also what department did you find it in at target?

"typeS" is indeed the brand. The unit was with other car accessories like wipers, cleaning supplies and others. I hope you find it becasue this thing does what's needed. A friend has one slightly different, little ticker and take a bit more space. I elected this silver one coz it is slim and looks kool also the bottom arms that holds the Mogul foldes up. Good luck

So, I think I found it at Advance Auto Parts (http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=TYS&MfrPartNumber=PH100036&CategoryCode=4079F)

Does that look right?

The brand is right but the look is different, the back of it looks little fat . That doesn't mean it won't work. Are you planning on ordering it online or picking it up?

I think I'll pick it up to make sure it fits. I'll have to drive across town, but weekends are for this sort of thing, right? :D

Thanks.

Well we don't have a Target and the Advance Autoparts didn't have the OP's item but I found a similar one at Walmart for $8 that also works well. Its the Onyx XT MP3 Player / Phone Holder.

The vent mount one is $5 and I haven't tried it but the goose neck suction cup one was only $8.

Here's a pic.

Here's the manufacturer's link.

Holds tightly and the goose neck is fairly rigid with minimal bounce when braced against the dash. Edit: And the phone charger does fit nicely under the metal bottom segment. The buttons are all accessable even with the bar...

Of course YMMV....

Nice find,

I bought a $10 generic ipod mount from Best Buy that does the trick for my Mogul, inside of the seidio hard case.

I'm using the air vent mount in my Honda Civic, it's a tight fit and a less than ideal swivel vent, but it holds solid!

After using the mount I mentioned in post #20 for a few days, I went out and bought another one for my wife's car. I highly recommend it.

I bought the one you recommended in post #20 as well. I used it for the first time last night. I am a bit nervous that it's going to fall of of my window, but it hasn't yet. I like it so far, and at $7.xx it's hard to beat. Thanks for finding it.

I got this same one (post #20), but the chrome bracket on the bottom prevented me from using the OK button - so I opened it up, unscrewed the bracket, flipped it and problem solved! Great bracket for 8 bucks!

I also bought the one in post #20 prior to seeing this thread. I had trouble getting the suction cup to stick to the window while holding the phone, so I finally had to lower so it is also braced by the dash. Not too big a deal, I was loving it for a few days. Then yesterday I went to put the phone in and the arms will not hold anymore. They keep expanding back out, this is not good as the phone now falls out very easily. I'm going to try taking it apart somewhat tonight and see what happens. Prior to that like I said it was working great. It was difficult charging though with the holder braced on the dash. Just my observations, maybe it works better in a different vehicle.
I don't want to spend $50 on a car mount though, so maybe I'll try Target.

I just modified the back of one of these to mount to my car dash. I guess you can just use the clip (for your belt) to hook it to something convenient if you don't want to get out the glue and screws. The "arms" that hold the unit will never get loose and it allows great access to the bottom for connections.

$7 and free shipping, can't be beat either

How is it going with everyone's dash mount? mine is still going on strong w/o any glitches. Later
