I have a XDA IIi (the Apline) and have been looking around for a decent mount that didn't cost a fortune and more importantly worked. Baring in mind I have a extra heavy duty Battery on mine for when I am away from the car, I found this one.

Now I fitted it this afternoon (it arrived very promtly this morning) and this is what I said in a e-mail to Coral Phones (the Supplier's)
I just thought I'd drop you a quick e-mail thanking you for the mount I
fitted it this afternoon and am very impressed with it pity you ran out
of the one with a external speaker and would suggest that one with a
external speaker and a external Mike would be a good selling item with
