I was wondering if there was a way to rotate the screen 90 degrees while in vista. If it could be rotated that woul be asier to use it as slate with touchscreen/pen input.

I tried looking thru the display setting and the intel graphic software but no luck.

The screen orientation settiings are in Control Panel, Tablet PC settings, Display tab. However in this case it only offers Primary Landscape.
Screen rotation controls should also be in the Windows Mobility Center in control panel, but are missing. Looks like HTC deliberately removed the option.
You could try this -

So Why is in device manager G-SENSOR ?
I think is it Gravity sensor determining rotation of screen.
Then should be able automatic rotate screen.
As is it on some digital photo cameras......

The G sensor is for the HDD I believe.

Ah, now you know why I gave it such a positive review ;). But isn't that why it comes with Shag Control?
