How to change sms input window high?

Can somone tell me, what registry is responsible for size of high of input frame in message window in 6.1 ?
How can I change it? I know it's changeable, because CRC and Faria roms has diffrent sizes.

Also does anyone know how to add word count into messaging on WM6.1 as it was on WM6.0. Would like to know how many letters I have left when replying to messages.
