Awesome. I was planning on doing something like this when I had some time (like that was going to happen). Now I may not need to. I will look through the icons and see if any of my main apps are missing. I can always make them, but I will let you know in case you are trying to make a complete set.

Usually things like my auto mileage logging program, Bible, and games (worms, ball breaker) are what get missed. Anyway... Great work!!! I look forward to seeing them on my UL screens.

Don`t think this is very usefull because i use a lot of freeware that you would also need.
But you can get it and work with it:
1. You need "weatherpanel" with the "phatphinger" -theme
2. and "metrix 2.1" (see second screenshot)
3. "smartutilities" or similar from Daniel who created UL
4. a small programm called "muteon/off" to mute the fone (1. Screenshot under the clock)
5. a software to hide the softkeys of your phone "PMC TodayShrink"
- Put the ".ini" file to ultimatelaunch
- and the Folder "iphonetabs" und your sd-card (special Icons for the tabs that appear in 48x 32 pixel (what normaly is not possible with UL)
- Make there also a folder "UL-Icons" and put my icons in there.

hope i could help but my fone is now very special, but try it and you will see what is missing/not working or what you will need or modify. If you manage this, you really know your phone and will never need your stylus :) and i forget: the first thing: forget about all the htc-cubes here and disable them !!!!

I can't get the iphonetabs to work properly. There is alway a empty space between the bottom of the icons and the bottom of the screen, and when I use your .ini file I get the scroll bar on the today screen. I have also hidden soft keys on the today screen. I'm lost and have been trying to get this to work all day. Any help would be appreciated.

There is one called Programme.ico, which I guess is meant to represent Programs.

Also, I just noticed there is one called Navi.ico, which I can use for Google Maps, so you can pull that from the list if need be.

Hey Lane, i was able to minimize the space between the icons and the bottom of the today by ...... going into "Settings", then "Display", and checking the "Fixed Plugin-Height" and adjust the pixel. For me, I have a Kaiser (240x320), so adjusting pixel at 291 or 292 worked for me.

Thanks for the quick response, I tried something a little different though and I don't know how our results differ. I was able to keep the ultimate launch plugin at 307 pixels and then went into the registry "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\Ultimatelaunch \" and changed "Type" from "4" to "5"... this value locks the plugin to the today screen effectily removing the scroll bars, and now the iphonetabs sits flush against the bottom of the screen.

Thank you these are great! I think I might have found some of these before, so these extras are REALLY helpful.

Is there any way to enlarge these icons for use in ultimate launcher or inside of ultimate launcher? There are several pages like my "GPS" page and "News/Weather" page where these icons would be perfect if they were just larger since I only need a few icons on those pages. I tried making these bigger, but failed, they look horrible.

Not to hijack your thread, but maybe someone could point me to large icons I could use or convert? I have been looking, but have found nothing as nice as these!

Hallo Guys

I knew that it would give problems :( with my special ini but hope we manage it. There for some things i must explain:

1. I forgot to wrote that i disabled the windows scollbars:
Go to Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKLM) \SYSTEM\GWE

there you find "cxVScr" and change it to "0" (Zero). Hope this fixes your scrollbar problems. Because without srollbar you can set the fixed high of screen larger than 300, so my iphone taps scrolldown and you just see 48x32. Hope you understand what i mean. See on picture 1 how this is working.

2. As i allready wrote in another Thread: the Icons i made base on a beautiful iconset of from i guy called akuma. There are also many game-icons i did not really need and i missed a lot of Icons. Here is the Link: http://forums.freestylwm.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=70

they are in .png and 60x60 but with big transparend bordes that i cut. So you can`t make really bigger ones out of them, maybe 51x51 or so. But you can easily make .ico of it with the freeware "icofx".
The most Icons of my Bigpack are modified or made completly new by me. Not as perfect as akumas, but i think some are quite nice. But everyone is welcome to make better or bigger ones. I choose the 48x48 Pixels because so i can get 4 in a row.
3. The names of the icons are sometimes in german, but i tried to made them in the original layout so i hope you dont need a dictionary.
4. I made some transparent icons that are good for small taps. They are called "Home", "Programme" and so on, but they are in a different style, you can see them on the top of the second picture.
5. You can`t count missed calls with UL itself, you need a plugin for that
5. And Last but not least: if you like my UL-clock i also made one for s2u2 (third picure). Download it here (clockA.zip)

I'm using the icon application you mentioned, trying to create icons from 6 game pngs. For some odd reason, I can't get all my icons the same size. I would like to increase the size of the spiderman icon, but it keeps coming out small. I need some help figuring this out.

okay.
First of all put the spiderman.png to icofx in the ORIGINAL SIZE 60x60. cut most of the transparent borders with the tools of icofx so that you have 48*48 and then go to "symbol" and creat the subicons. think you made somewhere a mistake because as i can see it worked with your other game icons.

I made a little addon, because i didn´t like some older icons i made. Think they look much better now (Registry,QuickGPS/Sattelite,SKTools):

See my first post. i made some new and redsigned some of my older ones. You can see nearly all Icons now, including the addons, on a picture and can download them also in .png for other launchers.

1. I`m just working on completly new or better icons for Spritebackup, Phone old/new, battery, SD-Card, Wikipedia etc. They come soon.
2. My Iconset is for free. It based on a smaler free Icons set of Akuma (?) but ca. 70 % are redisigned or completly made new by me. So i think you can use it if you refer me. It is the work of weeks, but im getting faster and (hope so) better. I started this just for my touchcruise but then i think why not for the community.
3. The icons you see on the buttom of my screenshot are special ones. They seem to be 48x 32 but i worked with a trick because UL cant diplay 48x32 at this time. I think its better if you dont try this a this time because you have to do some other modifikations. You can see how it works on Post 29. Quick question for you guys, how do you create a lnk with Ultimatelaunch to point to a website? I've noticed there are a few icons out there like wikipedia, google, youtube, etc. Is it possible to have these icons lnked so that when you click on them it takes you straight to the corresponding website? Pocket Player, Pocket Informant, Bubble Breaker, Super-G Stunt, SMS Backup,FreeUp RAM, Trashbin, AltTab, HTC Tweak and Vspainter
It would also be great if you could make some grey ones to use for the tabs i UL, for instance Home, Settings, Calender, Programs and Games.

I know this is almost asking for too much but it's just what I need ;)

the icons are in .ico for ultimatelaunch and also in .png for other launchers.
for Ultimatelaunch: make a new folder on your ppc or the sd-card and put my icons in.
Make a new Shortcut with UL for a programm you want. Then first choose XP-ICON (= .ico) ! and then one of my icons and then the path to your software.
check out in UL every icon-setting that you have a correct size ! Wrong size is often done wrong.
you can use my icons in 16, 24 , 32 or 48 pixel as you like.

if you already have shortcuts that use their own icon you have make new ones with XP-Icons.

Its no Problem if someone is posting here his icon-wishes. you can be sure i read that daily and will try to do the most of them into my next addon.

Ok, I was able to fond out how and I did one myself to test and it worked.
(1)Login in your paypal account,
(2) go to mechant services, then in the "Create Buttons" section, hit "Donate".
(3) On this page fill it out accordingly to your specifications, but in the last section "Button Encryption" - choose no, then hit the create button. (4)On "Add a Donate button to your website" page scroll down to "Link for Emails" scroll down and highlight and copy the entire html code. That's what you're going to paste in your signature.

But go here to ensure you configure your signature correctly.

I tried to study the whole thread and some others but I didn't find an ActiveSync icon. I'm using Direct Push so from time to time I have to access AS for some settings. If there is no such icon may I request one for UL (best would be .ico)?

- i couldn`t upload the .icos of the bigpack, it`s to large. See post 1, its easy to convert all pngs into icos.

Edit: Duh found it myself! :) For anyone else who has this problem; when you first set-up a new icon, it is that point that you must specify 'XP Icon'. If you don't choose this option at that time, you will not see the option again later and will have to delete the whole tab and start afresh to be able to see that particular option in order to assign theses beautiful icons to tour individual apps. Hope that helps someone.

Is anybody able to fit five of these icons on one row? I have messed with every setting and it seems there is just one pixel setting the fifth icon to a second row. I have them set at 48pxl, anything smaller is a huge difference in size and all margins are zero.

Great work, after much reading and messing around with UL, Have been able to customize it to much of my liking.

I do have one request, dunno if this has been addressed but I'm in need of 3 icons to complete the "set", both Oxios Memory and Hibernation, and the new game from Astraware Platypus.

To make 5 icons in a row, you have to recise icons to 47x47, and set the space between them and "Verschiebung bei Druck" to 0

yes. use the png files: they can be made transparent. you need a good Painting Software like Corel paintshop or something like this. There you find normaly a slider where you can easily set the tranparence from 0 to 100, for example. With Software really no Problem.

I have made some icons for use in UL. First, I have to say that they are no way as good as BlueMetalAxe's. Second I must give credit, because my S2U2 icon is a combination of 2 of his. I still want to make/find an icon of a stopwatch and an engineering calculator. If anyone wants to improve on these feel free. I actually like them more freestyle. I think the fish is an orange fish so like a Nemo picture would work and then any gun ship or carrier ship would work for the other game.

Hi all, Does anyone know of a PPC picture viewer that also viewes Icon files and png files?

If not a picture viewer that does it all then maybe just an Icon viewer but for Pocket PC.

I've looked around and just don't see to find anything for mobile devices.

best picture viewer is A_Cs "S2V", shows also png icons, or any other graphics in your software or windows folder or whatever, but not sure if it shows ico.

Hey I just wandered across this and it's a nice post.

I downloaded the two big Icon packs from the main post and created an icon library DLL file from them.

Now you can use these icon's when creating shortcuts or any other reason when a DLL icon library may come in more handy.

I had to upload the DLL to rapidshare, as the site wouldn't accept it for some reason.

Sorry if the answer is somewhere in here, I couldn't find it, but in the first post, there is mention of 32x32 subicons...where are these? I can only see the 48 pixel and the 16 .ico icons.

ico -icons can have subicons, mine have 48,32,24 and 16. They are there !

OK....so is that a UL thing? To automatically resize icons according to screen space, pre-determined setting....?

there is a trial version uf UL. But you have to set the size of the icons you want to use in UL.
If you want to see the subicons on your PC: open any ico with the windows picture viewer and use the arrows, it should switch through the different sizes of the ico.

Are you sure you posted in the right thread? This is an icon set, they are .ico files, only certain apps can use these images, if that was your intended question.

Don`t think this is very usefull because i use a lot of freeware that you would also need.
But you can get it and work with it:
1. You need "weatherpanel" with the "phatphinger" -theme
2. and "metrix 2.1" (see second screenshot)
3. "smartutilities" or similar from Daniel who created UL
4. a small programm called "muteon/off" to mute the fone (1. Screenshot under the clock)
5. a software to hide the softkeys of your phone "PMC TodayShrink"
- Put the ".ini" file to ultimatelaunch
- and the Folder "iphonetabs" und your sd-card (special Icons for the tabs that appear in 48x 32 pixel (what normaly is not possible with UL)
- Make there also a folder "UL-Icons" and put my icons in there.

hope i could help but my fone is now very special, but try it and you will see what is missing/not working or what you will need or modify. If you manage this, you really know your phone and will never need your stylus :) and i forget: the first thing: forget about all the htc-cubes here and disable them !!!!

this are icons for other program launchers like ultimate launch, throttlelauncher or similar. you cant just replace windows icons with this.

I have downloaded the icon pack and used some of them in UL. However, when I select the icon, I get a really small icon on my display. I usually see nice sized icons on different screenshots I have seen, but for some reason mine are almost smaller than the original program icons. Any ideas?
