Where is i-mate these days?

I can't help but to notice that i-mate has totally died out in the UK, and probably Europe. I just haven't seen a single unit in any proper retail stores (but I did spot a second hand Ultimate 6150 on Tottenham Court Road a little while back).

I guess they've given up since they dropped HTC? Not loving UK anymore? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyone still fans of i-mate?

think they moved to dubai
and then hong kong or something
and they went broke or was close to

their HQ has always been in Dubai.
they recently had a trade show in Singapore and apparently signed a deal with a Singapore mobile network company.

I deal with I-Mate.

I have an email from their US rep, which he sent to me on February 28, 2008 that everything should be out within the next 2 months. I am holding that to him, trust me.

We shall see.
