Screen Corruption

Has anyone seen something like this before? Fine black lines, only 1 pixel wide going across the top of the screen. They have just appeared, as if by magic on the very day the warranty expires. I'm hoping this is something to do with software but they seem to be persistent across a couple of different ROMs I've tried now.
Is this the screen on the way out?

Certainly loos like it....you could try a different battery (it may be the video chip is running under voltage due to the battery being old and the voltage dropping under load-but this is unlikely.

No connection with them (never used0-but these people do sensibly priced repairs in the UK.....
