My Polaris came with the AGPS deactivated, i.e. the registry HKLM/Software/HTC/SUPL AGPS/EnableAGPS was set to "0"
ServerIP was set to "193.253.42.109" and port "7275", which both are default for both Polaris and Tytn II.
If I set EnableAGPS to "1", my TomTom doesn't get any fix at all any longer.
Some questions:
-Will the GPS still work, and get a fix, if the rest of the AGPS settings are incorrect?
-Is the ServerIP a universal setting, or dependent of service provider / country of origin? (I live in Norway, using OneCall as provider)
-Is there any other settings that are to be altered to get this to work?
Also: Will TomTom and Garmin XT automatically recognize the AGSP feature? Hopefully the use or not of AGPS is handled by the phone OS, and should be "transparent" for these applications?
