HTC Polaris ROMs without Radio?

I am a little confused.
I have checked the ROM collection and noticed that most of the cooked ROMs are listed without Radio. Does this mean that the data in the PDA are not ovewritten when you update or that you need another cab to add the Radio? I also assume Radio is not the FM receiver but other functions like telephone.

The radiorom which you use stay put when you flash a rom without radio, so dont worry about it. The radio rom is for gsm/3G signal strength/wifi/gps?/ and another stuff IN the phone.

I have just bought the PDA as a replacement for my P3300 and have to learn a few things. And because of the high price I am very careful :-)

That is right! be careful with what you doing, the polaris can be a very expensive brick;)
