Hi I have added a unlimited data bolt on to my contract how ever it does have a fair usage policy of 200 mb. Has anyone gone over this limit. Do you get charged after this or do they stop data for that month after you have exceeded the limit. Or is it just to stop you downloading video, music and using VOIP???

Yes you will be charged the standard rate if you go over the limit, see O2's small print in their terms and conditions. Use SPB GPRS monitor to keep an eye on things it is a cheaper option, find it here. (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/gprsmonitor/?en) :)

i spoke to o2 just after i'd added the bolt on to ask what the fair usage limit was, and i told there was no limit anymore and he would put a note on my account to say he told me that. Do i believe him no!!

I will be phoning them on Tuesday because I'm still in my 14-day cooling-off period and they'll be getting the phone back if it's true. 200mb is not enough to last a month for rme.

Dude if you use 200mb in a month then you are seriously filling some cache in your internet explorer .
Even with exchange syncing outlook and commontime syncing with notes , Internet streaming etc I have never used 200mb in a month
i wouldn't worry too much unless you are gonna watch tv all day every day on your device
