I've look & looked & looked but can't seem to find it. A dumped rom won't work for me because I bricked my phone trying to update the rom. No idea what went wrong because I've updated my rom many times and it usually goes smooth.

Is your phone bricked? If so you need an original rom to revive it. In order to find the original shipped rom u need to find the CID and Device ID for your phone. If the info you gave is actually the correct info and the rom u tried to flash is an original shipped rom & NOT a DUMPED rom then it should work...

1st you need to make sure you're not trying to flash an elfin rom on an elf. Usually if its an original shipped rom the post would indicate that this is what it is. You have to read everything before you try to flash a rom to your phone. Make sure that the post says that the rom is an original shipped rom and not a DUMPED rom.

I'll double check for you to see if I find your original rom..please also do your search..

I have come to this forum after a long time, and still I could not find the solution
for my HTC.
I have A htc which was bricked by me while I was trying to change the language from
dutch to english. now it has been in tri colour mode for last 3 years.
I have managed to find out the device id and cid through Matty.exe.
the cid is locked as it says FF. all I need is the original firmware. but I could not find on itnernet and on this site. can anyone help me on fixing it?

need Rom Update Utility to get flash nbh file ! download file rom htc Elf and extract by one folders, open the rom folder then searching and delete or replace the nbh file in with file nbh which you has download before
only ready to click update.exe hence process flashing will run by itself

that means your device is still CID locked, try to cid unlock first to able flash a cooked/custom ROM !!
