I have the plastic one, but it's coated with rubber. I went with this on instead of the clear plastic one because it's easier to hold on too, plus won't crack as easy. It has saved my phone numerous times.

i've tried many cases with my phones. the rubberized ones are good for gripping in your hand or on your dashboard, but the colors sometimes throw off the color of your device. the aluminum ones i think are point blank wack...too bulky. i've settled with always buying the clear plastic ones. despite other people saying they are cheap or they break easy, they dont. i dropped my touch pro 2 from about 4ft onto my driveway. the plastic case did not shatter, but it did scuff the corner. the rubberized one would have probably flaked a bit. the tp2 is still flawless :D , the only setback with the clear is that lint and dust gets under and it looks like your phone is dirty.(i hate it) i clean my device everyday but the upside is that there is no scratches or dings on it. the plastic ones are great! i got mine from my local mall at a cell accessory kiosk for $8.
