anyone know any software that does gps navigation for free? or at least one that has a 30 day trial, or some kind of trial.

I think you use HTC TyTN. HTC does not spell it as titan, but tytn.

Tytn is the same as a kaiser. Grrrrrr its frustating that our phone isnt on there but the ELF is!!! i mean its newer than ours!:mad::(:mad::mad:

I want to use Garmin XT program for my mogul. Getting a 8 gig card for it. The folks at Garmin told me you cannot transfer the files from their 2 gig card to the 8 gig card. I thought I've read posts here and at other sites that you can. So, can you transfer the 2 gig Garmin card info to an 8 gig card? If so how? Thanks,

This is the 2nd place I have seen you jack a thread with the same question verbatim.

Just move the info over to the 8gb card and try it and stop worrying about it.

Thank you for your thoughtful and helpful answer. If you read my post you would see that I said "The folks at Garmin told me you cannot transfer the files from their 2 gig card to the 8 gig card." I thought I read in a GPS thread somewhere that it has been done. So if this is not about a GPS issue which thread should I post to? If I post in the card thread they'll tell me to move it to the GPS thread.

to the op you didn't specify w/ or w/out a data plan, if you have one - I have been pretty happy w/ live search from microsoft. free, fast, accurate, and more poi and addresses than any stand alone ap I have seen.

I believe the link is m.live.com from your phone dl the find maps ap, install and roll with turn by turn directions...

p.s. if no data plan, then skip this one it uses data...

I am very new to this and I got a new Mogul from Sprint with unlimited Web access. I did D/L Live search as per your prev post(Thx). But When I try to get my current location to able to use the GPS, it is failing. Do I need to update my phone with new Rom to be able to make GPS work with MS Live?

yes, you'll need a new rom with the new radio... DCD's 3.0.1 is supposed to work good.
