I use radio 1.64.08.21 and since i flashed with diamod r8, seems like my signal reception drowned alot

what radio rom is best for r8?
should I use the new radio 1.59.42.15?

yesterday i flashed my Orbit2 (Polaris) with the murata Radio Rom 1.58.23.21. The flash is going well, but today i see that afther every call the sound of the phone is set off. It works no incoming call, no music, not any sound. I tried afhter Softreset, Sound Works. But afther the next call sounds off. So today i get flashed the device with the Radio Rom 1.64.06.04. The flash is going well but no Service. I make Softreset.... noting, allways no Service! What should i do now? Any Help?

If you really use syrius r0 on your device as yiur signature indicates,
the radio fits best for you is 1.59.42.15. Try and report.

If you have a Rev B, use the 1.58.21.23.
I have tried all Radio Roms and, with my Polaris Rev B, the new roms don't work.
I have flashed the 1.58.21.23 and all work fine.

i'm using 1.59.42.15 in fido network. GSM,HSPA and GPS working fine but i have a problem on windows live push e-mail, it cannot sync my hotmail sometimes need to restart. i'm not sure is windows live problem or Radio rom.

I used the original 1.58.21.23 Radio and that worked perfect, goor reception. But I flashed to some newer radio's because I want to flash to a newer ROM.

1.59.42.15 Reception good, incoming calls, but no sounds both ways. (GPS ok)

I changed back to the 1.58.21.23 that worked fine before and now I can make calls again, but my reception is poor now! So is this radio not really the same even if the numbers are the same?

I'm using the Udk Diamond R8 ROM. Didn't change that..

Does anybody knows if the use of wrong Radio ROM can damage the Bluetooth chip of the Polaris? I'm asking this because I've tried several Radio ROMs and now my BT is dead. I'm using udK Syrius R7 and I've tried to downgrade the OS ROM, the Radio ROM and still can't make BT to work anymore.

I have this Polaris for almost a year now and BT always worked fine untill I started playing with cooked ROMs and Radio ROMs, I'd just like to know if it's a software malfunction or if it's a hardware problem (BTW that's the message I get when I try to turn it ON "Error: Problem with Bluetooth hardware") and looking on other thread on the forums people seem to agree that is indeed a hardware problem.

Would anybody recommend a combination of OS ROM / Radio ROM for a final test?

Don't know why the following happened: I installed the 3LIT3 Full ROM and initially BT didn't work but after a soft-reset (if I'm not mistaken after setting my regional settings) all the sudden the BT started working! I tested it with my notebook and it was all fine. Then I tried to test it by turning it off and on again (I couldn't leave it on forever...) and it stopped working for good again!!! :confused:

Any toughts??? Can't it possibly be "partially" damaged (I doubt, but don't know what's happening anymore...)? PLEASE HELP ME ON THAT!!!! Thanks! :(

I found a Kaiser radio rom 1.65.14.06 and it's working on Polaris with standaard HTC WM6.1.
It gives normal signalstrenght for GSM and GPS.

Hi everybody!

I'm flashed the new 3Lit3 ROM, wich included the 1.65.30.09 Radio ROM. Because I don't like this 3Lit3, I wanna back to KhanX 3.0. This khanX working but only with 1.58.25.14 Radio ROM. But I cannot anymore another Radio flashing! First after the flashing process was 100% became an error on PC "Error [226]" and it stayed in Bootloader mode. Then I tried many Radio ROM, with the same error results. I tried an old udK ROM flashing and it was successful! But still always with Radio ROM version 1.65.30.09!!!! Of course because the udK R6 was not included any Radio.
Then I tried flashing again any others Radio e.g. 1.59.xx.xx but it comes again an error message!
How can I change this Radio ROM?

I loaded 3lit3 naked with its radio version... not remember which was the original. It was workin fine initially, but after some time when turning phone raio on (using SBH Phone Weaver) i just could not make any call "sim card busy error, try again".

So I tried radio 1.65.30.09 this morning my battery was 100% full, by 10 am it was 75% lunch time less than 50% even with some charge while connected to my pc; i just disabled Always On mode for data...

So I'm trying a previous radio version...

By the way... I'm in Mexico, that means GSM@1900, UMTS@850...

I'm with BEPE 0.67 premium rom, and i've flashed my polaris with this 1.64.08.21, because the camera dose'nt work with my previous radio rom. But network connection with this new radio version is very-very BAD !! No HSDPA, only Edge connection (and only 1 or 2 bars on network icon), even in locations where the polaris had good reception.
I'll downgrade to another radio...

So far I'm not having much luck. Some give me some 3g capability and that's it out of the rest only 1 seemed to work on GSM properly. Only 1.58.26.20 KAIS or 1.59.46.12 seemed to work (didn't note which so i'll retest). Currently trying 1.59.42.23.

ASerg can u or a Mod modify the 1st post and put all the other radios that have turned up there. I've just read the whole thread and am gonna start again cuz it's not as clear as it should be on what exists and/or works.

Kaiser's 1.58.26.20 that was ported over (can't remember which link) gave me 3G coverage from the word go but I sacrificed my sound and camera.

I remember seeing that the rom has an effect on which radio to use so I searched for mine (since it's a raw uncooked htc rom) and saw a solution that mentioned the 21.23 Murata. Was confused since it didn't work b4, so this time used Custom RUU. Now all is perfect. High GSM coverage, 3g, sound AND camera... bluetooth...???? Yup :) Am golden!

having just had to retire my old artemis/p3300, i just received a p3650 and trying to find my way through all these radio versions!?
on the artemis i was one of the first generation explorers, at some stge even into cooking roms, these days i need a working device;).
now on the radio versions which one would be the best pick?
on the artemis the best pick was the last officially released for that device!
which version would that be here?

Most of the WM6.5 ROMs uses Polaris_Radio_ROM_1.59.46.12
Any other radio ROM will cause the camera not to work or gives a black screen.
I tried 4 ROMs (Kostas, Pcarvalho, ...) with all roms the camera not function unless the specified radio used

But for me phone and 3g signal are not very good.

I just flash to WM 6.1 with radio version 1.59 but for some reason I was under the impression that radio version 1.64 mentioned in the very front of this thread should be better. but it's the opposite. the phone spend most of its time searching for signal, and now I'm putting my simcard in my Nokia to test where the problem lies (the phone or the signal is actually bad). turned out the signal is as good always and the internet speed is very good. so, I have to downgrade the radio version back to whatever the original rom wants. and I can't find it here. argh! anyone is kind enough to extract theirs?

We have the following problem: I can not install any version of radio.First there are two messages asking permission to install, then a white screen that says "loading ..." and after a while an error message appears saying that the phone is not connected to PC.
Mention that my phone has installed Kostas244_ROM_2g_23541_A3S.
What could be?
