Intro:

This is the third release of SNN. There have been a couple of fixes from the 2.0 version of this ROM. I've tested this ROM for about a week, it's stable for the most part. On a side note, I do not use bluetooth, so I can not say whether or not the bluetooth bugs have been fixed. I am satified with this release and may wait until a new build comes along before releasing another version of this series. I strongly recommend giving this ROM a try if you liked version 2.0 or even if you haven't tried it. Alot of touch applications have found there way onto this ROM. As always, feedback is highly recommended.

Final Note:

I accept no responsibility for any damages that maybe done onto your phone by using/attemping to use this ROM. This ROM has been flashed succesfully onto my CID & SIM locked G4 using SoftSPL.The nk.nbf file only contains OS and splash screens. No IPL/SPL. So it is G3 & G4 safe. Please read the "READ ME" file included in flashing tools. If you are new to flashing I strongly recommend reading the stickies in regards to flashing a new rom onto your device in order to avoid any damages.

For those that are having issues with my rom running slow, can you please describe by what you mean by "slow". I know that the inital boot of this rom is slow due to the fact that network wizard tries to configure your network settings and there is a pop up for S2U2. After the initial boot and once your network is configured, the rom shouldn't be running "slow". I've tested this rom for about a week on my device before releasing it and other than the initial boot/setup I haven't had any speed issues or it being "slow". So if you can give me an update on your device or if it is still slow please respond. thanks.

Most cooks, myself included, exclude the cube for the simple fact it takes up to much program memory. We only have so much available with the wizard and try to maximize it's function by leaving it off.

The general speed of the rom after setup is slow. the device hangs alot, launching programs tend to stall same from closing them.
pressing "x" doesnt close apps but just minimizes.

internet explorer stalls when loading pages and becomes un responsive.

These are the problems Ive come across so far but otherwise a lovely lookin rom....

have you tried a hard reset after installing the rom? at times there are some trash from the previous rom that we have used that makes our newly installed rom acts strange

after 5 long hoouuurrs of waiting I can finally install the rom... will tell if bleep's experience is the same as mine

hopefully this beats the last version newbie...

This Rom is fantastic except, this is very important to some, In active Sync, there is no option to sync your PC with Bluetooth, only IRDA which does not work. you can send and recieve files via Bluetooth. Just cannot sync with Bluetooth. Why is notepad missing?
also, customer feedback still pops up.

Downloading right now. I use vista so i havent been able to do roms on the fly have wait till i get home. Oh i still didnt see time sync :-(. Also i hope the sync with outlook and live messenger is sorted out

well i'm gonna save you the hastle, i didn't make any adjustments as far as changing .dll's to correct any problems from my previous release. I just cleaned up, more or less, icons and substituted some apps. I don't want you to go through the hastle of reconfiguring your phone for nothing.

TouchFlo enables you to scroll up and down, left to right, without the use of your stylus but rather your finger. There is a cube that can go along with touchflo but i didn't include it. You can see the cube on youtube, there are a couple vids of it in motion. Just search for touchflo.

There is definitely slowing down after the flash. Specifically at the today screen and when switching to other screens, like programs or settings...I overclocked the phone to 260MHZ, but still experiencing slow down. Could it be the small pagepool? BTW, the rom is awesome, I wanna add the dialer calling tab from the addon....:)

That is what I was looking for. I usualy see it in office or in the menu. Very usefull.

the Big buttons in com manager settings dont work. and the battery lies too, one moment it says like 70% battery then jumps to 90% sometimes and finally when i try to download the weather for my region if im connected via wifi it then fires up a Gprs connection at the sametime to get the data (not had this happen before)...

just started to get popups in internet explorer stating a script is running which is causing your device to be slow.
I've done a clean install now from my original carries rom straight to this rom...

i just installed this ROM. i had some problems with the installation.
the first time, after the installation was over, i was stucked in the boot loader.
i tried to take the battery for 10 min. it didn't help. then i went into bootloader and installed the original ROM from VODAFONE Germany. then i was able to start up. Then i installed the SNN Edition WM 6.1 and it works now. I will test it in the next few days and post feed back.

i found the problem (reason why the touchflo scrolling didn't work).

one of the first things i do when i customize new rom is change the scroll bar sizes, which i guess somehow conflicts with the touchflo. i changed the sizes back to defaults and scrolling is working now.

it does sound like an apparent bug though.

So..i'm using that ROM for 4 days now...and i still have 40% Battery.
The Battery life is very good. i'm very pleased with that ROM.

I've noticed that when I tap on the speaker icon to change the ringer to ring/vibrate/silent that it doesn't change the ringer when I get a call. I have to go into phone settings and switch it every time. Hold the "com" button to change from vibrate to ring doesn't work either.

Well it seems either I have a bad version or something is totally wrong as none of those programs or settings were in the rom I downloaded. MAybe this is discontinued so I am waiting for rapidshare to allow me to download the newest build / version I see ....
