View Full Version : Config The RC e100 Remote Controller?

Hello,
Ik was wondering if it was possible to config the buttons on my RC e100 remote controller? Then i hope its possible to use the controller also for other audio programs, because of the equalizer problem that a lot of people have.

I hope someone can help me :)

I would love to use the HTC RC E100 with S2P.

In another thread someone said that PocketPlayer recognizes all of the buttons of this remote control.
So I guess other third party players like CorePlayer first have to include support for this remote control.
There's nothing HTC can do.
Unbelievable how much time goes by and nothing happens, but that's so typical for CoreCodec.

rc-e100 absolutely doesnt work with my hermes ;-(

Can anyone on this forum have solution for this problem??????

It is not supposed to work with BlueSoleil but with Broadcom stack

I would also love to use the remote with MortPlayer.

On my touch Diamond, I tried HTC Audio Manager, which is unfortunately not VGA compatible. The remote works with it. Maybe that's a clue

There is a VGA compatible HTC Audio Manager out there, you can get it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/53159533/HTC.Audio.Manager.cab.html

Think it's a bit strange that no one has built an app yet to interpredate the signals sent from the headset, it cannot be impossible... Big minus to HTC for not releasing an API for this.

There hjave been over a year and no one have figure out how to make the remote control other players. The only oines it controls are:

WMP
Pocket player with all the plugins (Older manila)
HTC Manila Player.

It stopped working on latest Manila releases,

Im using Sense 2.5 Enrgy ROM and can't control the player yet.


Any clues????
